DEFINITELY add the marina to your itinerary when you visit Augusta. The riverwalk is great, you can rent kayaks, and the river is so soothing to just sit and watch. They also have a pedestrian bridge opening soon that you can walk across the Savannah River on and enjoy food vendors, etc. I’ll definitely visit it when it opens to the public.

The boys love the playground. Nice long track by the river. Plus places to sit and relax. We have even went fishing in the savannah. Get your boat and go to the dock.
