I had my September wedding here and I couldn’t have picked a better location. Everything was BEAUTIFUL! Lindsey and Shannon were amazing to work with and so kind. The renovations they did were absolutely breathtaking! If I had to do it all over again I’d pick this venue. BEST DAY EVER!

This venue took my breath away! 😍 It's nestled in the beautiful mountains in a gorgeous and quiet location. I absolutely love how light and airy it is. There was so much room inside, bathrooms, staging area, bedroom, getting ready space and more! They have a beautiful outside space that I didn't photograph, but it's stunning! The owner Shannon is so incredibly sweet and professional. I can't wait to host many more events and weddings here! 🎉

Oh my gosh what a stunning venue!! I recently visited this property and was blown away by all of the thought and care that went into crafting this beautiful location. It starts with the gorgeous mountain drive to get there and once you arrive, the greenery, florals, and adorable garden fountain surrounding the cottages are just breathtaking. Once I walked over and saw the outdoor chapel I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place for a wedding. If you’re looking for your dream venue around the Dahlonega or North Georgia area, you MUST check out The Garden Cottage. The owners are the sweetest and truly passionate about what they do. I recently attended an open house at The Garden Cottage Event Co, and it was a fantastic experience! Wow, what an amazing venue. First, let me start by saying that Lindsey and Shannon (the owners) are so kind, helpful, and accommodating. They recently took over from the previous owners who ran the place into the ground. But boy did these ladies do a fabulous job renovating the venue (inside and outside). Its pure magic in there now. I recently attended an event and I was blown away at how gorgeous the space is. There were butterflies and flowers everywhere on the property. String lights outside for evening events and a beautiful waterfall which makes for a great photo sesh! Highly recommend this venue for weddings, parties, photoshoots, and other events.

I booked this venue over a year ago, I planned EVERYTHING. TWO months prior to the wedding AND without notifying us they made renovations (without notifying us), changed the colors of the reception hall (WITHOUT NOTIFYING US) and didn’t honor his word that we would be able to use the decorations in their storage at no extra cost. TWO MONTHS ahead of the wedding I had to find out of these changes which change EVERYTHING ABOUT THE WEDDING DECORATION AND THE VISION . I ONLY found out about the changes because I VISITED THE WEBSITE, NOT EVEN BECAUSE HE TOLD US. My wedding planner attempted to make contact with John several times to get answers to questions and we would get NO RESPONSE. As it turns out he just got another job. Now he won’t refund the down payment. AWFUL BUSINESS PRACTICE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BOOK YOUR EVENT THE VIEWS AREN’T THAT GREAT, the customer service is absolutely abhorrent, and they lied about the distance from hotels to the venue, they said it’s a 20 minute drive it’s a lie… they’re in the middle of nowhere in the mountains.
