My husband and I got married at Chota Falls on November 2, 2024. All of the staff including Lawanna, Henry, and Arlene were AMAZING. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding. The fall colors were beautiful across the property. Our florals by Henry were absolutely STUNNING, all of our guests raved about the food by Arlene, and Lawanna did a great job planning the entire event. The entire town of Clayton was absolutely adorable and cannot wait to come back to visit. We would highly recommend Chota!

As a photographer I must say Chota Falls is STUNNING. It's one of my favorite wedding venues in north georgia. Getting married in front of a waterfall? Can't get much better than that.

Kara and David got married in November Chota Falls, and it was such a memorable day. They held their ceremony right in front of the falls, a unique and dramatic backdrop that really is magical. Cocktail hour by the lake gave guests a chance to enjoy the crisp air and picturesque views before moving indoors for the reception, which was was warm and cozy. There are so many little areas around the Chota Falls estate that you're spoilt for choice in terms of wedding photos, you won't regret it!

Where to begin,
Not only was the venue itself gorgeous (made me feel like a character in an Italian drama), but the staff there blew the experience out of the water.

Carlos was super sweet and helpful the whole stay, and everyone else I encountered was very nice. Desirée was the best bartender I've ever encountered. Super professional, sweet and awesome! I got recommendations for what to do around town from her, and followed them to a T the next day - My Clayton experience would not have been nearly as good without them. (Rusty Bike for breakfast, Hush for lunch, Currahee brewing, 1882 Cafe, and Tallulah Gorge for hiking)!
The rooms in the venue were so cozy, spacious, and varied greatly throughout the property which made it fun to visit friends and see where they were staying. Every single glass in the venue was sparkling clean (had to curb my habit of rinsing dishes before use!) and so were the rooms.

Thank you so much to the incredible staff. And, to my newly-wed friends for getting married here. Hehe.

Me and my beautiful bride were married there on 10-26-24, and let me tell you the staff made the experience one of the best ever and definitely one we will never forget! Lawanna the wedding coordinator went above and beyond for us during the whole wedding process! She allowed us to come on a day they normally don’t do tastings on so we could get our menu together, they honored everything they quoted and her ability to control all the fast spaced business and chaos that is a wedding day is second to none. Lewanna’s best quality is her and her staff make it a very personal experience through and through and we are so thankful to just adore every one of them that made our special day so special. The food was absolutely amazing, if anyone can cook up better than Arlene I’d love to meet them. Her food was spot on and everyone was crazy over her savory cinnamon bread, dry rubbed beef and salmon and definitely don’t sleep on her green beans. Henry the florist knocked the flowers out of the park! He made my wife’s dream come true and he couldn’t have gotten any closer to the vision my wife dreamed up! Neither my wife or I could have asked for a better wedding, Lewanna is the absolute best wedding coordinator ever and if you are planning on getting married give Lewanna and the staff a call at Chota Falls because Lewanna definitely knows how to make all your wedding dreams come true. Thank you again for everything we will always be thankful for everything you all did to truly give the best wedding we could have ever dreamed of!

This place was incredible. We attended a weekend wedding at the venue and it was amazing. The place is very large and has upscale lodging scattered all along the property. Wonderful weekend.

Beautiful venue tucked up in the Chahootchee hills of Georgia. Right at the start of the Appalachian trail with beautiful vistas, a chapel, fabulous suites and great reception hall.
