This company is hard to believe. 10 Stars!

ABSOLUTE EXCELLENCE.
I've purchased many vehicles in my lifetime, but never an RV. They made it super easy. Everyone was in sync, moving fast, smiling and very knowledgeable. The service tech Hector was so knowledgeable and clear - I told him he should make a DVD lol.

Ryan, Christie, David, Eric, Sarah and my salesperson Kendra ❤️ are simply a class act team.

I saved so much money that I flew in from South Florida to purchase my first RV Class A from them. So far it's great.

This was by far the BEST EVER buying experience I've had in a long time. They honestly honored their discounts with NO haggle or freaky sales tactics.. I'm already working on two referrals for them.
- I know this was a mouthful and I don't work for them lol... The EXPERIENCE was really that awesome 👌

Happy new customer!!

Jessica, my sales lady, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the Winnebago Micro Minnie we were interested in. They had a very nice selection and made our first experience buying a camper great. The finance department was very accommodating. The sales manger was easy to deal with and gave us a price we could not refuse. Easily. All in all I would definitely be back for future upgrades.

To my camping friends… I had an electrical issue on a friends camper that I could not help him figure out. I decided on a whim to drop by the new Travelcamp RV Dealership in Griffin (next to Cronic) to see if I could ask one of their service guys about it.

I was met at the door by a friendly employee who connected me with Hector, the service manager. Hector came outside, took a look at the camper, and said “if you have a few minutes I can probably fix it right now”. And that’s exactly what he did. It took him less than 15 minutes to identify and fix the problem.

I’ve owned a lot of RVs over the last three decades and have never experienced such remarkable service at a dealership. One advantage to having a brand new dealership on town is that they are not booked out for months and months for service like so many others. But you can bet they will be swamped when word gets out about how great this place is!

Thanks Hector & Trevalcamp… you earned my business!

An absolutely terrible experience. When we purchased, it took hours for them to do the paperwork even though they had all of our information before hand.

Then, the financing paperwork was done incorrectly, which required us to re-sign everything.

Our registration took months, so we did not have a license plate.

Finally, it's been almost 6 months since we traded our old camper, and the loan has YET TO BE PAID OFF!

Corporate keeps saying they are "looking into it", but no results. I have filed a complaint with the GA Georgia Attorney's office and have had to hire an attorney to try and resolve this. In the meantime, I'm paying monthly on a loan for a camper that I don't even have in my possession.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

UPDATE 12/7: I’m not sure of the resolution mentioned in the response from Travelcamp. A resolution is an agreed upon outcome on both sides. That has not happened.

By far the worst purchasing experience I've EVER had in my life, please read. I purchased a class A motorhome from Travelcamp at their Griffin location back in August 2023. This was a motorhome on consignment. I was traveling in from Ohio for the purchase. The motorhome had a list of agreed repairs from the consignment check that needed mitigated before I took delivery. Some meaningful repairs, like power mirrors not working and fog lights not operable. After a few weeks of constant check-ins, I was told the unit was all fixed and ready for delivery.

I proceeded with travel arrangements (flights for 2, a ride from the airport) as I was coming from Ohio. Initially once I arrive at the dealership, everything seems fine. We walk through the unit, I check to verify the items on the consignment checklist, etc.. One of the mechanics then proceeds to take the motorhome to fill up for fuel (I was promised a propane fill up which didn't occur) before we depart. This is where things start to go down hill. My dad and I get in to depart to find multiple electrical issues (parking brake light with alarm that beeps for 90 seconds, resets each time you stop - mind you we were driving 500 miles back to Ohio, cruise control not working, power jacks not operable due to parking brake light issue), the generator would not stay running, along with a few other minor issues. After a few hours with no diagnosis and determining their mechanics would be unable to resolve the problem, we decided to hit the road. One positive in this entire experience was the General Manager (James Speiser) at the location.

He assured me that Travelcamp would reimburse me for the issues and they did (it took many follow up calls on my part and the GM emailing corporate, about 2 months later I receive a check). But that's not the point. First thing that irritates me is the mechanic never informed me of the parking brake light being on (he drove it just before to get gas). He said he wasn't wearing his seatbelt and that's what he thought the beeping was coming from. Second, I was communicated of a PREPPED unit ready for delivery. I even delayed delivery by a week to give the dealership ample time, it still wasn't prepped.

Lastly which is still an ongoing issue is my registration. It's been nearly 3.5 months and I've not received. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've called the Travelcamp corporate office, the dealership, and the 3rd party company Travelcamp uses for registration, Opus, requesting updates. I only receive updates, never positive, when I reach out, which is an absolute shame. My last straw was finding out after I winterize and close the unit for the winter (3 months later on 11/22) that my state DMV office is requiring a VIN inspection to finalize registration. As of 11/27, I'm told by Opus that the VIN inspection and paperwork is being resubmitted for registration but time will tell. I've been very patient and quite honestly kind throughout this entire atrocious experience. I've requested from Travelcamp, due to the unit not being prepped, the 30 days the unit was unavailable to me after purchase from being in the shop, the time I have invested in fixing the unit and chasing registration, multiple renewals of my temporary tags, and just the frustration that my prep fee be refunded back to me. As of today (11/28), they have communicated their lack of desire to reimburse me. Any company that thinks like a consumer would realize that this is a very reasonable request. Not Travelcamp.

SO.. beware, I'd highly encourage you to do business with another company. This is not how you do business, especially when you have consumers purchasing campers/motorhomes/etc.. the cost of some homes. And if someone from Travelcamp would call me to further discuss, I'd sincerely appreciate it. I hope this review is helpful.

Thor owners beware!

I called this location on October 10 and explained my bmpro screen was bad and I needed a new one. This screen runs the entire rv and is essential. The guy said he already had a few on order and they should be there soon. I made an appt for Oct 24 expecting a quick fix. The guy at the desk said they did not have them in stock. Ok I said can you get them quickly I have a trip. He said sure I put an order in. These people never called me to update me on order/ service status so I would call each Friday to check up. Several times I left messages. Still no calls back. After 3 weeks I called back again and the guy at the desk said the bmpro screen was on backorder nationally through Thor and there was nothing he could do. I hung up and called Thor customer service directly. Thor informed me that they had plenty of these in stock and there was not a back order. They also keyed in my VIN and let me know that Travelcamp had not placed any orders for my vehicle. I told the manager this and he said they had ordered them. Needless to say I got my screen in 2 business days from Thor and replaced it myself. Will never be back as these people clearly don’t respect their customers.

*Update*
It has been over three weeks now and my trade in has still not been paid off. And despite the response from Travel Camp below no one has contacted me at all. So yeah once you sign the paperwork they are pretty much done with you. No customer service. Sad.

Everything seemed good until I had issues with my trade in. The sale went fine they even installed a MaxxAir fan at my residence because it was a part they had to order. However I traded in my 2017 Jayco 26BH and they gave me the payoff plus used the extra towards my down payment on my new unit. About a week after I traded my old travel trailer in and brought home my new trailer the payment on the old unit came due. Now seeing as I had already traded it in and they were supposed to pay it off I did not make the payment. A few days later the loan company called and texted basically saying where is your payment. So I text/call the people I had been dealing with and one person said that everything went through that it should be Tuesday (2 weeks later) and the old loan would be paid. So Tuesday rolls around and my old loan company texts again wanting a payment. So I call the actual dealer to now be told that it is showing as “processing “ and that pay offs on rv loans can take 30 to 45 days. What a rip. So I am supposed to make payments on a unit that I traded in and can no longer use? “It’s not like a car loan” I was told. So yeah just like a previous review I am not happy with this at all. I tried calling the customer satisfaction number and extension from another review and got no answer and it just loops back around to the automated answering service. You know they could have told me that if a payment is due to prepare to still make the payment but they did not. I am not sure on how to proceed. I guess since I am possibly gonna have to make a payment on a unit I no longer have I should be able to go pick it up and rent it out to make the payment? This is just ridiculous.

Go up
