We decided to partake in the Savannah trolley ghost tour with Old Savannah Tours.
The tour was one of the more affordable options in Savannah. You must arrive on time as the trolley pretty much left right the desired time. The trolley seats are first come first serve and when you sit up front you can see the “ghostly” visitors more closely…. The tour takes you all around the Savannah area where they show you every significant spooky location. At every location your guide will give you a history lesson and story about why the place is spooky. Some locations there will be a spooky visitor who will interact with the group. The tour eventually ends up at the Telfair Museum of Art where you can explore the museum. The guide will then give you a scary story that will embrace you in the museums spooky atmosphere.
In all, the tour was very worth it. The guide and actors really made the experience wonderful. The actors took their job so serious and the guide was hilarious. The only gripe I had was that you can’t get out at each location which would’ve been more immersive. I would recommend Old Savannah Tours trolley ghost tour if you want an entertaining, spooky, fun, and relaxing tour of Savannah.

Recommend doing a tour as one of your first activities in Savannah. Many to choose from, we chose Old Savannah. They are family owned and local. We did the on-off option for one day. Worth the extra few dollars. We used four different busses. Took our first tour through all stops, then went on others to see different sites we wanted to revisit. Each buss we used had a different driver and each was informative and had some different topics or historical facts they shared. Worth the time.

My friend from Texas came to visit and I always take people to Savannah but I have never done the tours. Well today we did the Old Savannah Tours. It started with a wonderful many named Mr Leroy he was an amazing spirit. Then Mr John gave us a wonder narrative tour of Savannah. He was just a dream. He answered all questions with honesty and accuracy. I even asked some questions about restaurants and just living in Savannah. I plan on coming back with my friend who said he didn’t like Savannah but he didn’t take this tour. I know he will fall in love with the knowledge of Mr John and Savannah will be his new favorite destination.

We took this tour on our first savannah trip. It was really reasonable on the cost. You have the option to get off on multiple stops and reboard another bus. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. They didn't bore you to death with only facts.

We did a little research to find a great city tour and Old Savanna Tours was our choice. We liked how they were locally owned and have been in the tour business in Savannah for a very long time. They show all the great sites and even have costumed people hop on and explain their local significance. The driver was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. A really great tour.

Best city tour ever with Gertrude and Charlie! We like to begin a visit in a new town with a guided tour to familiarize ourselves to the new setting. Never have we learnt so many charmingly served secrets of a city - and Savannah is truly beautiful, even if it’s built on bones!

We did a combo Trolley tour and Dinner at The Pirate's House. The tour was entertaining and interesting. We learned some interesting things about Savannah and being in the Trolley was a nice break from walking all day. Our tour guide was fun (sorry, can't remember his name) and informative. This tour was definitely family friendly. We also had a couple of surprise guests join during the tour. Savannah certainly has an interesting past.

Dinner at The Pirate's House was just ok. Mine wasn't really hot, felt like it sat for a bit before being served. I had the Salmon with sweet potatoes and veggies. My husband had the Gumbo and he enjoyed his meal. Another person at our table had the fried chicken and it was A LOT, a half chicken. It did look tasty, but I definitely recommend bringing an appetite or plan to bring some home.

TIP: Sit on the left side of the Trolley for the best views
