If you're depending on your Creator God, then this place can be a Higher Calling... It is what you and God make of it together... There are some people there that have a heart for helping others. And then there are others who are struggling themselves... Drugs are available just about anywhere, but it's every person's choice to say, no! I made friends quickly at Higher Calling because I wanted to help and be helped... And with God's help, you can, too... God bless!

I had a terrible experience while living there. It was hard to sleep because so many people were using phones all night. Sleep is important to me because I know in order to learn and remember things you need sleep to do so. You get taken to religious places where one of the things it talked about it how drugs ruined their life but when get back to the shelter you have people living there selling drugs or giving people drugs didn't fully pay attention to it. Also living there is not for highly introverted people like myself. Lastly I agree that something shady is going on there.

I don’t understand why this shelter will charger someone who’s is homeless a 100 dollar to stay there for a week this all to be against the law to charges anyone that’s is homeless some money to stay at a shelter lol

This place is a joke ... non profit organization my ass ... they steal, they extort, they bully the people that live there and if you don't bow down to them they will put you on the street or drop you at a shelter that they know it's too late to take you in for the night ... the guy that runs the place drives a BMW ... HOW NON PROFIT IS THAT

The only place in Griffin that will help men for free. Ask for Will. The reason they get only one(1) star is because we can't give them zero(0) stars. They have no stars at A Higher Calling. None!
