The best breakfast/brunch place for the whole family!! Small town community, crayons for kiddos, even one of the owners came and colored with the kids and talked them up! Every single person in my family loved the food and THAT is a challenge with our toddler! Quickly becoming our favorite family breakfast stop!

i gave 5 stars for the room so as not to mess up the ratings. But we didn't stay there. We used the facility for a birthday party. Everything was fine but the parking...it is very unclear where to park...and because of the debris from HELENE...it made it more difficult. I especially enjoyed the decor and looking at all of the old photos, recipes, news clipping and general history about the area. Great!!!

I cannot praise this place enough! I had to go to Fort Eisenhower on a business trip and all the hotels on base were booked. Almost every single hotel in a 20 min radius had terrible reviews, except this one. I decided to give Red Oak Manor a try. Where do I even start, amazing restaurant connected to the bed and breakfast, family owned and extremely friendly staff, amazing rooms, quiet location, this place is an experience! The restaurant was unbelievably good. Yes the rooms are older but that is the style! They are still completely clean and comfortable. This place is unmatched and is undoubtedly an amazing experience.

After booking online was looking forward to the visit. The inn and restaurant are family owned and run. The inn is a historic house that needs some renovation. The rooms have Old window a/c units that didn’t get turned on till just before we got there and ran constantly .It was 90 degrees outside and probably 80 + in the room. Being an old building the number of ac outlets in the room is very limited. So trying to charge all the various devices took patience. The room we were in had a king bed that had a 2 step stool to get onto it on one side, challenging. The staff was very nice and friendly.

The restaurant has a reservation only on holidays. There are multiple options and you select 2 entrees, 3 sides and desert. Prices are reasonable.|We selected broiled chicken may have been listed as boiled chicken, Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, squash casserole and I had the peach cobbler and most of the there had key lime cake.|The chicken was dry and needed some kind of sauce to give it flavor, the Salisbury steak was good with savory gravy containing mushrooms, the sides were good except for the mashed potatoes witch were soupy. |The deserts were spot on with the peaches either fresh or frozen peaches, the cakes were excellent.|The service was ok.|Overall a good experience for families celebrating holidays without the crowds.

The owners were amazing. You couldn’t ask for better service, however the rooms need a lot of TLC. If you like going to grandmas house , this is the place to go. The room did t seem to be mopped or vacuumed. We might give them a second chance but we would really have to pray about it. I would recommend taking shower shoes too.

If you're looking for old fashioned southern charm and hospitality, Red Oak Manor is the place. It's family owned and operated, and the people make you feel at home. Will definitely come back.

When my dad told me he booked a bed and breakfast I must say I was very skeptical. I think B&B's typically get a reputation for older couples that need a romantic get away. I know live in a Chicago suburb and this was in the middle of the country, and there wasn't even a TV in the room. ||||After a few minutes of meeting the owner, I knew my stereotype of this place was going to be wrong. The family was very nice and their restaurant was like their oversized dining room. Anything you wanted they seemed to have. The beds were nice and comfy, the shower was big and had a nice shower head and the people were great. I only got 1 night for a stay but i had my own room and a bathroom i only shared with my dad. ||||The owner and her parent's (also owners I assume) opened breakfast early for us and made fresh breakfast. I had some of the best grits I had had in a long long time, being from up north though, I think Oma, was surprised I ordered them. ||||The night we got there my nieces and nephews had dinner there and they took us in like they new us for years. ||||This is a unique stay that I am glad I got. The family is very kind and caring. The show a great amount of pride in their community and in their family serving in the Air Force. It was a joy to stay here and I hope to go back.
