Even though I called weeks in advance of our reservation to change it from 3 nights to 1 night, I was told I'd be charged for all three nights. I was also asked to let them know what night of the three I'd be paying for I'd be there as a "courtesy" to them. You know, because they were so courteous to me. Any hotel has a cancellation policy - usually refundable if it's 48 hours or so. My husband and I also managed an RV Park in Oregon for four years and never did this to people. It reeks of being desperate. I was told by phone that it was because they booked out way in advance during the winter months. Really, I asked, because we drove through your park a month or so ago (November) and there was only one RV in your overnight area. I was still told, we'll be charging your card today for the three nights (weeks in advance of our stay). On the day I checked in, just as before, there was only one RV in the overnight spots; we would make two. And weirdly, the woman at check in said, "Boy, I'm going to be very busy this afternoon checking all the reservations in." And, as I imagined, no one else checked in. I even took a picture of the row of empty and available spots on the evening we stayed there. So, I'm not sure what her comment was about except to save face (?). We will never stay there again even though we'll be in the area often. To treat customers that way and be so desperate for their money even when circumstances change and they can't keep original, and then to lie about being so full and able to book any spot over and over because they're so seasonally busy, is a poor business practice. We left thinking, "fool us once, but not again."||In other regards, it's a clean park. But it's noisy - trucks all day and into the night late enough that they were still going by at 60 mph or so at 9:30 pm.

Our delightful winter home with the friendliest folks around! Love the smaller, more remote park with plenty to do and people who want to participate. So happy we found all these new friends!

We stayed here from mid-October 2023 through mid-February 2024. This park is a 55+ park and is very quiet day and night. If you are retired, they have plenty of activities going on throughout the month. Dances, breakfast, jam sessions, poker, bingo, darts, a craft room, a wood shop, and walking to outer edge of the park is 0.75 miles each lap. The sunsets are gorgeous over the desert. You can get mail and packages here, PO Box is $10 (not sure if that was a one time charge or per month). They also have a manual car wash station, propane fill, and an unfenced dog walk area that is just dirt and no gravel, great for tiny dog feet! There is a dog run but it has gravel so best for larger dogs. They have some exercise equipment in the main hall along with a book collection, and stage.
The location, if you are looking for solitude you’re in the right place. There is nothing around for a 20 minute drive down the highway. Quartzite is there. Beyond that tiny desert town, you’re looking at 2.5 hours to Lake Havasu City or Phoenix. There is a Walmart in Parker but its shelves are usually bare from being the closest to Quartzite. Other than ATV trails and desert golf along with the activities mentioned above, that’s all there is. Most people come for the ATV trails. There is not much hiking as the gravel is deep and there isn’t much elevation. There was no mountain biking for us unless we drove to Lake Havasu City or Phoenix.
This campground is well worth the money and the campers here are extremely friendly. Overall, our experience was positive, just wish there were more activities that we were into. It made an excellent place to work since it was so quiet and the sites are a decent size as well. We recommend this campground.

Wagon West RV Park is a great spot to stop while traveling through or for a long-term getaway in the winter. It is well maintained and full of friendly folk. We have family with long term lots that we visited over the holiday. It is nice to be able to bring our own trailer and have a spot of our own. The bathrooms at the front of the park were clean and spacious and the park is quiet and well located for off road exploration if that is your thing. We look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful park with large lots. Very friendly staff and neighbors. We only stayed overnight but looked like there were many long termers. The rates are amazing! Bathrooms and laundry were super clean. Large rec center with lots of activities. Highly recommend wagon west for either a stop in on your way cross country (like we are doing) or for a longer stay. Thank you Wagon west!

Listed relatives that were staying there for a month. Spots are very large. Got a tour of their club house, craft and metal shop.
Nice place to spend a few months away from the snow in the winter time. 15-20 miles east of Quartzsite Az.
