I stayed at this hotel for 2-weeks and the overall atmosphere was great and my stay was great. The staff was great and so was the service. Kudos for this location having an actual restaurant with a bar where you can get actual meals and not just breakfast.

There were a few things that I noticed which could be improved. On one occasion I went to the restaurant to get food and was told the cook had left even though it was well before closing hours for the restaurant. Another occasion, I went to use the “business center” to print a document only to find one computer had no network connection and the printer itself did not work. I went to breakfast one morning on the weekend and there was no hot water to make hot beverages and although the pancake maker was available there was no batter. The biggest thing was the laundry room. The hotel has 5 floors but only one laundry room located on the second floor with just a single washer and dryer that guests must pay for. Doesn’t really seem practical. So with only one washer and dryer to service 4 floors each floor having 32 rooms, there’s a chance of not being able to get laundry done if you’re there a while.

This location should think about placing laundry rooms on every floor and/or adding at least additional washers and dryers to the existing laundry room.

I was staying in town to visit family. The room was very clean and cozy. The bathroom was very clean and bright. I had zero issues with the room. The breakfast may be the best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel: real eggs, crispy bacon, grits, and yummy French toast! Everyone was very friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning crew to the kitchen staff to the dining room staff. She brought me orange juice and coffee and made sure I didn’t need anything. Make sure to bring cash for a tip for them! They worked hard!

The hotel was a nice experience. I had breakfast one of the days and it was actually pretty tasty. The location was fine for the purpose of our trip. It was easy to park and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, there were a couple of minor issues. The walls were very thin. I could literally hear the person in the next room snoring and could clearly hear conversations. The website and signs inside the hotel indicate the restaurant is open until 11. When we called for room service and went downstairs to check at 10:30, the restaurant was closed. We also requested a room refresh (there is a paper process at the front desk) but unfortunately, that did not happen. Overall, for a casual getaway the hotel was clean, had nice amenities, and I would recommend for future stays.

Location is great and close to I-20 and surrounding was quite place.

Room was cleaned but came with a saggy mattress.

Another negative was somehow I could hear continuous low frequency noise (not form fridge). My room was already away from vending machine and evaluator so I had no clue yet. It’s kind of annoying.

Pro:

Coffee maker was supplied with Keurig Coffee Pods. If you are not a fan of coffee, there was selection of tea pod.

A 35 or 40 inch smart TV is equipped but I did not have time to watch as main purpose of the trip was for business.

I did not like a curtain is set as partition between dry and shower area. Not a good design. Water would be easily sprayed out.

When we checked in, receptionist did not mention that we needed to fill out a form for room cleaning. It would be nice to give a reminding.

Pro:

Complimentary toiletries were included such as Dove branded shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion as travel size. I had stayed five nights. If you run out of the toiletries, you can get spare at the front desk.

※Breakfast: I like the breakfast.

Although it was not variety of selection, main meal will be served different kinds daily such as patty, French toast, and burrito (with beef). I rarely saw continental breakfast serves burrito and to be honest it tasted great. Friends and I had couple burrito at least on that morning. Certainly, it would be a good start with energy for the beginning of a day. By the way, a cup of mix fruit was also great to mix with yogurt.

Waitress was very nice with hospitality. She will ask what you would like to drink. As we had stayed for several nights, she prepared hot coffee and milk for our table. Appreciate for the detail-oriented for tenant.

※Overall experience was nice. My friends and I would recommend stay at Holiday Inn Augusta West I-20 on our next trip in Augusta.

My wife Stayed at this hotel on February 2nd thru February 4th. The hotel itself was nice, and breakfast was good. However, wife did have to checkout early due a family member had to get discharged from the hospital, but the Assistant General Manager insisted to charge a 3rd night, although we are Silver IHG members that allow you to check out at 2pm per IHG Member policies. The Assistant General manager (Sierra Prangler) also made my wife wait at the front desk while she provides proof that she checked out essentially at 1:30pm but Time stamped her letter at 1:57pm checkout time. My wife had to wait 30 minutes while my Burn Unit Son had to wait in the Car for her to finish typing up her 2-sentence letter. The staff at the front Desk was embarrassed on the way the Assistant General Manager was treating hotel guest by facial expressions of complete embarrassment. After trying to get assistance for my IHG credit card to get a charge back for the 3rd night, the hotel staff completely ignored any correspondence or communication. I suggest trying another IHG hotel if you are in this Area, as the Assistant Management staff will have 0 Empathy or Customer Service Skills to provide you with a Pleasant Stay upon Checkout. I've also escalated this up to a Corporate Level and will reach out the General Manager & the Owner of the Hotel. The Assistant General Manager should be demoted from her current Position and be provided additional Training. I work in the Management field, and this is not how you should treat your customers.

This is one of the most friendly hotels I have ever been to! The service across the board was fantastic. Rooms and grounds are clean and well kept. Great restaurant! The free daily breakfast is amazing! Convenient location right off I-20. Quiet rooms! I felt safe and like I was staying with family!

Fresh fruit with yoghurt is awesome for the start of a day.
Waitress is very kind to greet when seat in.
Mattress is too soft and I did not sleep well.

Staff were all very polite and welcoming. Great stay again here. The hotel had a pool👍, gym and great restaurant. The breakfast staff and food were a great start to the day.
