Have stayed twice. Both times we felt well looked after and staff treated us amazing.
Facility was good quality and felt new. Although renovations were going on during 2nd stay (a positive point) we still enjoyed our stay. Good food, great people.
Southern breakfast was AWESOME!!!! 🙂 Worth going just for this.

Room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Beat part of the stay was the staff! They were amazing! Darryl went above and beyond making sure we had what we needed/wanted for breakfast! All with an amazing smile and attitude! People who love their jobs…. A breath of fresh air! Thank you front desk staff and Darryl for making our experience wonderful!

I've been here for about 6 weeks so far, and I'm extremely happy here. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The service by the front desk staff is 5 star. The breakfast room is clean and is always fully stocked for breakfast. The laundry room is nice and clean, and you can use your credit card if you don't have coins, which I love. Holiday Inn Express is my #1 go to always whenever I travel. The location is great, very close to everything. I highly recommend this hotel here in Augusta.

This review refers to stays from February 27 - March 2, and March 5 - 8, 2025, during which I booked stays for three close relatives. The staff at Holiday Inn Express North, Augusta, Georgia, are truly great people, courteous, friendly, willing to help, and quick to serve. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. The rooms are clean and, most of all, quiet.

However, the handicap-accessible rooms do not have walk in showers, enough shower support bars, or non-skid shower/tubs surfaces, and the beds are too high. One relative in a regular room fell in the shower because the tub floor was too slippery. These flawed features represent lawsuits waiting to happen, and I urge the franchise owners to improve them as quickly as possible..

Had a great stay! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is nice and close to lots of things. The front desk was friendly and attentive. Kiombi did daily check-ins with me to make sure my stay was going well. I needed a late checkout and the front desk helped me with this request with no problem. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed at this location several times because my company dictated that I do so. I rate it as “fair”.||Positive: ||Clean, relatively inexpensive until they have an excuse to gouge people, like a golf tournament or weather issue.||Negative:||Noisy. Located in an area on Washington Road and I-20 where nobody actually wants to be for very long. You hear all the traffic, all the loud mufflers and if you get put on the front side of the building you also hear music from the restaurant next door. Add to that you have the usual inhabitants that make as much noise as possible in a hotel room.||Beat up. The toilet was loose on the floor. The door to the stairs stuck closed and you had to force it open. The wi-fi on the 5th floor constantly dropped connection and I’m sure it will stay that way. The workers that constantly stay there track mud up and down the hallway.||The front desk is courteous, but they have great difficulty understanding the room map and even after requesting a room on the back of the building, I was assigned one at the front. Take a picture of the map on the door of the room and point to the room you want.||Finally, the breakfast barely meets the definition. Most of it is rehydrated dreck and various things have been out or taste odd during my stays. They refuse to offer bacon.||You could easily do a lot worse in the immediate area, but with some effort, you can do better.

This was an awesome place. Easy check-in pleasant people at the front desk. There was one gentleman that worked there while making several trips to the car was a busy as a beaver cleaning, sweeping and I talked to him. Just a happy person! I got his name Demont and told him I travel a lot, but never saw someone working as hard as him. He was humble then after talking went on to his next project.

While travelling during January 2025, without making any advanced reservations, we happened to find ourselves in Augusta. Checking in late in the evening Kym was a true jewel assisting us. All the staff were excellent. Definetely the best place we stayed.
