We had an amazing stay after working in town in Alton, traveling from Des Moines! The front desk agents were beyond friendly, the rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast was fantastic! I happen to work in the hospitality industry and I was extremely impressed with this location!!

The fitness center is recently redone and really great! They have some good “extras” like resistance leg bands and a ton of weighted sand bags.

I stay at a ton of Hampton Inns in different cities for work, and this is one of the only ones that hasn’t gotten on board with digital keys and requires checking in at the front desk. It’s a pain when there are multiple people trying to check in at once. This stay, my bathroom smelled like smoke and my room could use some updates (broken seal on the door.)

The hotel was clean, and the room smelled fresh. It had the look, smell, & feel to a brand-new hotel. I was surprised to find out that it was a few years old. The bed was extremely comfortable. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. All of this made me feel relaxed throughout my two-week stay.

Enjoyed my stay in Orange City. Good location near town center, but also close enough to highway for easy travels. Clean room and hotel. Comfortable bed. Staff was very nice as well. Overall I'd definitely consider returning when in the area.

I stay here 1-2 times a month on business. Housekeeping staff needs to calm down. It’s not even 9:30 AM on a Thursday morning. I’m on a business call in my room that started at 8:45 and housekeeping has already knocked on my door twice to try to get in and clean it. This seems to be the typical experience here. What is the point of having a door hanger if the staff disregards it?

The good parts- the breakfast lady is so sweet and welcoming. I love the lemon water jugs, always fill my water bottle here. My room is always clean and the hotel is in good shape all around. I believe they have recently new linens, the sheets and towels are good quality. Plenty of parking, easy to find. The pool is a little cold but not terrible. There’s a cute little pond with a walking path in the backyard.

The stuff that isn’t the hotel’s fault but people should know: restaurants in this town close VERY early. You need to make decisions about dinner by 7pm or you will find your options limited. After 9pm you’ll be stuck with gas station pizza. Plan ahead. Nearby Sioux Center has more options for later dining.
