We are so glad we found Oak Meadow. This B&B was nothing short of amazing. Every detail was thought of and their 14 years of experience was evident. Eventhough they've been doing this for 14 years, every inch of the spacious home looks brand new and immaculately clean. There is abundant space for multiple guests to relax comfortably while limiting interactions with others if they so choose. There's also plenty of space to to enjoy with others if desired. The bed and room furnishings are amazingly comfortable and allows for maximum relaxation. A wide selection of complimentary coffee, other beverages, and snacks are available in the public space at any time. Breakfast is personally tailored to each individual and served in luxurious, yet comfortable fashion. The price of our stay was comparable to local hotels that offer far less accommodations and comforts (I say this from experience). The price we paid was also far less than we were quoted from one of the historic hotels with lesser quality reviews. When we return to Ottumwa in the future, there is no question we'll stay at Oak Meadow.

Greatest stay at a B&B we have ever experienced. Beautiful room, great bed, super view, and the host, Tracy, was exceptional. This is a great place to get away for a while if you need space, want to write a book or just plain chill. We look forward to our next stay here. Check out the soul pond/river. Well worth driving a little out of the way to experience this B&B.

Stayed for 2 nights while in Ottumwa for a job interview. Oak Meadow Delight is the epitome of B&Bs ... Tracy and Marvin are the ultimate hosts. You will come as guests and leave as friends. And the breakfasts ... to die for! Our room was elegant and comfy. You just have to come & see for yourself! Be prepared to be pampered. ❤️

The Oak Meadow Delight B&B met and exceeded our expectations for a one night stay while passing through Ottumwa, IA. The house is beautifully decorated and appointed both inside and out, our Lake View room very comfortable, the morning breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts very friendly and accommodating. Should I ever again find myself roaming through Iowa, I would not hesitate to stay at the Oak Meadow, and would probably make it for two nights in order to double the experience.

This is the cutest little B&B. Tracy was very accommodating when I had to unexpectedly visit to Ottumwa for a funeral, she made it really easy and stress free. I would definitely stay again and recommended to family and friends.

It had been many years since I had been back to my home town of Ottumwa and we stayed at Oak Meadow while visiting family. To say we were very pleased with the experience would be an understatement. Tracy was very sweet, accommodating and made sure our stay was exceptional. The property was beautiful both inside and outdoors. The atmosphere and ambiance was calm, peaceful and just overall relaxing. When we return, we will be sure to stay at Oak Meadow again!

My husband and I were in town to visit a library nearby and I chose Oak Meadow for our overnight stay. The experience was phenomenal! Tracy showed us our suite which was The Lodge, which was peaceful and quiet. It had a comfortable and luxurious king size bed. She even made breakfast for us! Tracy asked what time I drink my coffee in the morning. When I woke up at 7:30, there was a coffeemaker on a table with a cup and a carafe of hot coffee waiting outside our door. Their home includes a beautiful outdoor garden too! We love Tracy and we'll definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary! This was worth the stay!!

As a veteran B&B traveler, I can honestly say that Oak Meadow Delight was the best of the best places I've stayed. The breakfasts were exquisite, the home was lovely and spotless, the atmosphere was peaceful with a country-chic vibe, and the gardens were divine. The hosts were warm, inviting, informative about local attractions, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, including accommodating food sensitivities in a very delicious way. We will absolutely be returning just to spend more time with the lovely Boyer family, both the two- and four-legged ones!
