Took my Honda 20HP to them to get worked on. What a wonderful experience, done in just three days and at a reasonable price. Loved talking to the gentleman there and learning the history of the Marina. I will be taking my motor there for any issues in the future. Thanks and was one of the prettiest drives on back roads I’ve been on from Omaha into Iowa.

I bought a used boat there, I was nervous since I couldn’t test drive it, but lyn assured me that he would take care of any problems if they arose this season, well sure as heck they did, the boat had some serious issues, but I called on Lyn and he said just bring it in and they’d make it right, and sure as hell they are, they’re getting it all back to the way it should be and not skimping any corners, it shouldn’t be so amazing to find a business that still honors their word in this day and age but it is. Lyn stands by his word though and that has impressed me and sure to retain my business, I can’t recommend this place enough honestly, they’re good down to earth people who genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase

We purchased a used boat here. Scott & his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. The experience couldn’t have been any better. He treated us with the utmost respect and addressed all of our questions and concerns. They really went above and beyond, even on an old used boat! Highly recommend!

Called and talked to the service manager who told me he won't work on my boat because he is picky and my boat is to old. Also said he only wants to work on boats that come from that lake. Everyone I have talked to recommended I take my boat here. Sad he turns away business when he could be making money.

I regret to say I was mistaken. I've been taking my 1995 Crownline to Coulters for 10 years to be serviced and winterized, thinking I was supporting a local business, so that it would be there to take care of me when I needed it. That time was now. We had some starter problems this fall, so I left the boat on their lot over the weekend, and phoned for help day 1 of the work week.
John in service took a week to just call me back, only to tell me "The boat is too old, he won't work on it". I honestly thought he was joking. I've never heard such a ridiculous statement. Yes its old, however The boat has 800 hours on it in 24 years, and ran fine all summer.

I had to spend a day driving out to get the boat and haul it back to Davids Auto Tech in West Des Moines where David was very helpful and 1 new starter later, and we're back in business, boat running fine.

I'll be finding another shop to do my annual maintenance. I'm sorry i wasted so many years on Coulters.

Maybe John can learn from the seasonal help that actually helped me out in the past.

Below is my previous review.
Coulters helps make owning a boat easy. They do good work for a fair price, and are willing to lend a helping hand when they have a boater in need. I went to pick up my rig after they'd finished winterizing, and my jack had failed, but two mechanics stayed and helped me after they were off their shift, to borrow a floor jack and get my family rolling.

Absolutely horrible! I didn’t buy my MasterCraft there and Lynn refuses to do warranty work on it. Previously bought a MasterCraft from them and they did service for 13 years, now I guess I’m not an important customer any more. Wow! Never will I set foot there again and I will broadcast to all to stay away!
