My wife and I had a perfectly wonderful overnight stay on our way through Iowa. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was very little noise from the hallway and we slept just fine. The neighborhood seems safe and we were not worried about the car. The price for the room was very reasonable.

This was a very nice and pleasant experience to stay here. The hall carpet is older yet the floor in the room was modern and updated. The beds were most comfortable. Some might call the bedspread older looking yet everything, bedspread, sheets, and pillowcases were clean. No issues at all. |There is an individual perking coffee pot but lots of hotels have that kind. Breakfast consisted of make your own waffles, bagels, bread, and muffins with jelly, cream cheese and peanut butter available. 2 types of juice, coffee and the mini fridge had boiled eggs and milk. Fresh bananas. |No problems checking in or out. We felt safe here and would stay again.

I rarely give 5 stars. However my stay here was exceptional. I am a week late in giving this review. I had a room with a king size bed which was extremely comfortable. The pillows soft.. I found the hotel well maintained, clean, quiet and owners cordial & helpful. It is an older hotel yet in excellent condition for its age. The room was huge and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Even the bath soap was good. A lot of places it is too smelly is why I mention it. I asked for extra coffee & creamer for my room. Received it very quickly. I was impressed the creamer was CoffeeMate brand & not a cheaper generic one. Just another small touch that meant a lot. The breakfast was continental style as with most hotels. It was well stocked. The pastries fresh as well as the bagels. I highly recommend this place. My overnight stay was restful & refreshing. Would I stay here again? Without a doubt. Very clean hotel with all the basic comforts. Breakfast was available, and better than most these days. No pool so if you’re looking for that stay someplace else. The price was very reasonable. Good café nearby . Would definitely stay here again.

Just south of the Des Moines metro area. No frills, but clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed and pillows for an overnight stay. Friendly staff and wallet friendly price. Would definitely stay here again if it's on my travel route. Highly recommended.

Clean room and warm on a winter day. Quiet. Pet friendly is you read the rules first. Very convenient to the highway and tucked away. Spacious rooms. (It may sound stupid but good towels - not thin and not scratchy - just right. Good heater that I could control.

Beds are comfortable, tv worked, clean, and quiet, very quiet…needed sleep after a long drive and I did!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating…definitely would stay there again….breakfast was great also! Coffee in the room, microwave and refrigerator …

Very clean hotel!! Everything even smelled clean!! All the staff was friendly and helpful! (Recommended a nice restaurant close by.) Pillows and bed comfortable. Towels nice and fluffy! Breakfast was as expected. Enjoyed a banana and yogurt! ||Would definitely stay there again!
