First of all the pool was amazing. They had a hot tub, and the rooms were nice. The employees were nice as well. They also had a vending machine with a variety of pop,powerade,water and just anything. I like the location because it's really close to the Sioux city bandits game.and that. Was the whole point of the trip.

I overlooked that it is a 2 start hotel because of all the positive reviews. After arriving, I understand why it was a two star. First, our room was 75% clean. The sofa bed still has on the linens from the prior guest. The coffee bar in our room wasn’t refilled and there are no cups. Our phone didn’t work to call the front desk and the ac/heat is iffy. The window won’t close all the way (only a sliver but still, we can everything outside). The blinds don’t go up and down, we can only open or close them. The one lamp had a broken off knob. The chlorine in the pool broke my daughter immediately. The front desk employees were sweet but overwhelmed and couldn’t do much to help.

My husband and son’s room smelled like marijuana and had stained sheets. Overall, would not stay here again.

Positives are the rooms are big. And has two tvs, water is hot in the shower. Full length mirror.

In general though, not amazing.

Played against the Sioux City Bandits and stayed at Stoney Creek. Rooms look amazing and not just plain like most hotel rooms. I definitely love the appearance of them and the hotel. Staff was amazing, and nice bar there too. Outdoor pool was cool, even though i didn't go to see it.

Rooms were nice. Very busy weekend. Friday there was a concert across the street at the Hard Rock and Saturday's must be family night because there were a lot of kids running up and down the hall. Didn't even attempt to go down to the pool or hot tub. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. No vending machines and there little snack store was pretty empty and only had diet soda. Vending machines for snacks and sodas on each floor would be nice. Would stay again if we're ever up that way again.

Positive: We normally live this hotel. It?s an easy walk to our favorite entertainment, includes a good breakfast and has comfortable mattresses. Negative: We didn?t get to stay at the hotel we booked because they were over booked. They sent us to The Courtyard and paid for it. Biggest downfalls were that breakfast was not included and it was a very long walk to entertainment for our child free night.

Great night's sleep, large clean rooms and baths. Only negative was the breakfast - all items that should have been hot were not and no way to hear anything up in the breakfast area. Would stay again - convenient location to the casino, event center, and historic downtown.

My experience was not the best of all. Only 2 people with great customer service in the front desk. Rugs dirty. I checked my sheets for an intentional mark I left. Housekeeping did not change them they just fix the bed. And the top of the cake was that the housekeeper person left me a note that they were out of toilet paper… go figure

Got a room for my 60 yr old mother. Received a call from her at 3am letting me know that she had been awoken by local police and told to leave due to apparently running the halls at 3am. No proof even though there are video cameras. Had to drive to pick up a 60yr old. Asked the front desk for a refund. Was told that even though she could not be sure that it was the right room it was the right area of the floor. No remorse. No apologies. They got almost $200 for nothing. Will not stay again or recommend anyone else to stay. There is a much newer Doubletree, 3 blocks away. Go there instead!!!
