We had my parent's 50th wedding anniversary dinner at The North Place. We had 20 people and it was a great fit and could have fit more. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful and cozy! It was perfect for dining and for visiting!

Amazing house with rustic and unique decor and features. Large room and kitchen on the main level perfect for gatherings and windows all around with beautiful country views. Very comfortable beds and a cozy basement that we enjoyed snuggling up and watching movies in. Sleeps up to 10 people in beds (if you don’t mind sharing), fireplace, 2 TV’s, kids toys, washer and dryer, large master bathroom with huge bathtub and shower, full bath downstairs and half bath on main level. Bathrooms and kitchen are stunning... such a welcoming home that I didn’t want to leave! Lovely owner/hostess who is a terrific cook with a wonderful story about their North Place. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful little acreage North of Carmel. The home is spacious with great views. Has a fire pit and a gas grill. We only stayed one night, would have stayed longer. Beautiful place!

Great place to stay if visiting NW Iowa. Beautiful farm house with matching decor that can sleep many people easily. Wide open floor plan that can host large groups. Owners are very reasonable and helpful! Will stay again!
