We booked a trip to East Africa with Julie. This trip was out of our comfort zone planning, and our first time using a travel agent. Julie was outstanding, helping us every step of the way, very prompt at answering our emails even from home, and gave us some helpful tips. The trip was flawless and we’re now hooked on planning future trips through Gullivers.

We just got back from a long planned trip to Ireland. Jon Collins was supposed to also be on the same flight. When we landed we searched for Jon repeatedly, searching for any recognizable names on the many signs (there were none), I called and messaged her several times. I even called Gulliver's customer service, even though it's 6 hours difference . We had no knowledge that Jon Collins had canceled coming on the trip. It took great effort and time to finally get a hold of her. It is our opinion that Jon left us stranded at the Dublin Airport for about two and a half hours. We were left stranded in a foreign country with no one to contact. No one knew, except for Jon, our names or phone number, or any contact info. I was actually scared. Being left stranded and perhaps abandoned for hours at the airport, not knowing what was going on.
Because of this we missed the first part of the tour.
Additionally she had our Travel Guard insurance papers that she assured me she would bring herself and we didn't have to worry about it. The group also had
a voucher for the last couple days for hop-on hop-off in Dublin. We were never told someone would have to hike down for extended period of time, to turn in the travel voucher to get us each individual tickets, what a waste of valuable time and effort.
People at the Moline Gulliver's knew of our issues and no one has bothered back since we returned.

....FINAL UPDATE...
It should be noted there were not 12 tour people on our flight. There were six of us. Ourselves and two other couples (that knew each other).
However, no one knew us and we knew no one. No one knew our names or how to contact us.

It should also be noted, we were never told "as explained to the group before departing the US" , we never received any correspondence, advanced warning, email, call, message, etc that our agent would not be on the flight. We found out, days later, after the fact, good friends of our agent were notified before the flight. We were not. We also found out, after the fact, they were given a picture of whom to look for, at the Dublin Airport. We were not, because we didn't know who or where he was and he didn't know who we were and we had no way to contact each other, or anyone else. We had no one else's name or phone number, in case of emergency.

We found out later, there had been meetings with the others on the trip, but we were never asked or invited.

I purchased a package from Gulliver’s Travel in Moline for my wife at Christmas to go to Cancun. We have not traveled basically since Covid. Fran at Gulliver’s Travel took care of everything. I mean the flight ,the resort ,, the all inclusive best deal . She held our hand every step of the way and just want to say if your planning a trip check out Fran at Gulliver’s Travel in SouthPark mall. Thanks again . Aka best travel agent ever.

We did not have a good experience booking our trip to Australia. We called a manager to help and that did not go well either. I am sure they do a great job with other clients and this was a one off situation. We at times went weeks with multiple emails without responses. We ended up booking out excursions on our own and searching for better flight times on our own. At one time they blamed us stating we were confused with all the information we had. We travel over seas two times per year and hoped we could go to a local travel agent this time and have a good experience. We will not return to them after this experience.

We have gone to Gulliver's for years. We have always had great service planning our vacation trips. The agent we have been working with for several years goes out of her way to make sure we're taken care of. Always welcoming staff as well.
