We were flying from DSM to Denver on Christmas Day. Once we landed in Denver I got a call that my mother had passed away. Southwest made the situation streamline and gave me a direct flight back home to be with my family free of charge and any additional fees. They made sure I was taken care of and consoled me for my loss.

Once aboard the flight to DSM, I was comforted by the flight crew for the situation I was in and treated me like family. The captain greeter me as we exited the aircraft and extended his condolences.

I have not flown in 20 years. And I am so glad we chose Southwest. Such a wonderful airline with genuine and compassionate employees. I WILL be rebooting our vacation with southwest for sure.

I love flying Southwest Airlines because there are no assigned seats,I'm disabled,so I get to board first,and I can sit where I want,it was nice because I could sit in front of the plane and didn't have to fight to get to a seat farther back of the plane,but now they are changing it to assigned seating,now it will be a struggle for me when I fly,I don't know how it's gonna be for me now.

Amazing service. I had to book a flight from AA because SWs only flight to San Diego was at 12. In the end I missed my AA flight and they tried to sale me a 866$ flight next day instead. Within second I booked a SW flight next day for 366$ instead. SW to the rescue again. Amazing service A+ to the team.

It's always a pleasure to fly Southwest. They are possibly the best domestic US carrier. The service in Iowa is limited but the staff is great. They do the best job of getting people to and from their destination than any other airlines.
