From the moment we met Chelsea, she immediately put us at ease. To say that she goes above and beyond is an understatement. She was knowledgeable, connected us with all the right people, advocated for us, and kept us in the loop through every process. I cannot stress enough how seamless she made the whole planning and especially the wedding day.
Considering the fact that we were planning our wedding from across the country, had never seen our venue in person, and we had a lot of DYI elements, communication and transparency were so important.

On the day of wedding, Chelsea made sure everything went perfectly. From making sure that our wedding party was all on the same page, dealing with all vendors (no small task!), and keeping any hiccups (as there are prone to be some on such an important day) away from us so we could be fully immersed in the joy.

Not only is Chelsea incredibly resourceful, an absolute expert in her field, but she is also so kind and loves what she does. This is shown in every single step, and with how amazing the day turned out. On top of all of this, she is just so sweet and nice, and genuinely is the kind of person you would want in your life.

I would recommend Chelsea and her team to anyone and everyone, and I can personally say that it was an honor and privilege to work with such an amazing person.

I was determined to want to do everything ourselves for our wedding and I could not be happier we decided to get help from BTO! They brought together our day perfectly and handled every detail - the ones we thought of and the ones we didn’t. I can’t imagine not having their support and coordination on the actual wedding day itself and cannot recommend them enough! Chelsea and Cameron were the dream team and made us two very happy brides!!

If I could give Chelsea more stars I would, 1000+! Chelsea was a dream to work with. Not only is she so kind and easy to talk to, her diligence and just willingness just made things so much easier for me and my partner to be able to just enjoy the day. And did we, BEST DAY EVER!
She went above and beyond for us several times - paying the Mariachi band that I totally spaced to pay day of and driving us home and to the after party so we can continue celebrating.
We are so grateful to have found her. No doubt in my mind that our day was perfect because she was there.
I have found a lifelong friend and the best wedding planner in AZ!

I do not even know where to start. Chelsea did such an amazing job with our wedding. We opted for the partial planning option because I wanted to play a big role in the planning process and Chelsea was still right there with me every step of the way. The Aisle Planner website, budget tool and checklist, I would not trade for the world, it made everything so seamlessly easy, not only for making sure we were not forgetting anything, but also keeping all of the necessary information in one place that was accessible by Chelsea, myself and the groom. We also connected with the majority of our vendors from her preferred vendor list, including our DJ, the favorite of the night. From the beginning Chelsea gave informed and sound advice, allowing me to ask questions, but never once bulldozing me into making decisions that did not reflect who we are, that takes a truly special skill. On wedding weekend, Chelsea did an amazing job of communicating with everyone, doing a great job of traversing our family dynamics and wrangling in a very large wedding party. Wedding day ended up being about 15 degrees warmer than what had been reported just a couple days prior on all of the weather apps, and with my hair extensions, veil, boots, shapewear and wedding dress, I overheated, quickly. Even though I tried to keep it together and not let many people know that I was struggling, Chelsea saw right through it and came to my rescue with a cold towel, draped it over my shoulders and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. I made it down the aisle on time (I am a stickler for time) happy and as cool as a cucumber.
At the very beginning of the wedding planning process, I was adamant that I plan the wedding myself, I am so glad my fiancé pushed for a wedding planner and so grateful we chose Chelsea, I wouldn't trade her or all of her expertise and skill for the world.

As a Canadian bride getting married in Arizona and planning a destination wedding from a far, finding a planner I clicked with was really important. I spent hours researching, and after my first call with BTO I knew it was the perfect fit I was looking for. I cannot say enough amazing things about this team. From their attention to detail, to their kindness, expertise and amazing organization, I truly felt like I was planning my dream wedding with a friend. From Day 1, they made what could've been a very stressful experience so fun, and dare I say "easy"! On wedding day, they truly helped me execute my "vision" to perfection. Their entire team ended up coming on site, and I truly couldn't have done it without them. I didn't lift a finger all day, and they truly made the experience everything I'd hoped for and more. Could not recommend the BTO enough - worth every penny, absolutely amazing to work with, and the kindest team. 11/10 experience. BTO, thank you again for everything!!

If you are questioning whether or not you should hire a day of coordinator for you wedding.... let this be your sign, YES! Yes, you absolutely should and Chelsea is your girl! We hired Chelsea to be our day-of coordinator in April, 2022 for our wedding in Mesa, AZ. She was a HUGE help and AMAZING from start to finish. My (now) husband and I live in California so planning our wedding in Arizona was a bit challenging. But Chelsea met with us virtually, multiple times before our date to help make sure we had everything covered. She was extremely thorough, prompt, and always quick to respond if we had any questions. Come wedding weekend, Chelsea lead our rehearsal the night before and her and her assistant, Cameron covered all the things on wedding day (making our lives stress free). Highly, highly recommend! Trust me when I say, you will never look back and say, "I shouldn't have hired a day-of-coordinator." It is worth every penny! Thank you again Chelsea and Cameron!

I cannot recommend Chelsea and the Black Tie Optional team enough! From our initial consultation to the big day itself, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable.

She helped us navigate everything from choosing the perfect venue (The Paseo) to selecting the best vendors, and she was always there to calm our nerves and reassure us that everything would be perfect.

On our wedding day, Chelsea truly shined. She ensured that everything ran smoothly, from coordinating with the vendors to managing the timeline. Chelsea and Cameron were AMAAAAAZING! I worked with Cameron the month of and she helped me finalize the space design and timeline details. She was very patient! We met and covered virtually every detail that could exist and ones I didn't think of. Like where to stage wine and batched signature cocktails after the bartender leaves, processional/recessional details, ect! We had a backyard wedding in Arcadia and Cameron came on-site and helped with the floor plan. She and a helper also managed the waitstaff for setup and dinner, made sure flowers & rentals were repurposed, ect! The best part is she took behind the scenes photos and sent them to us afterwards! We didn't have to ask, it was very thoughtful 🙂 I highly recommend working with her!
