K2 Event Co. is an elite wedding planning group with a network of vendors that allows for a stress-free (YES I MEAN IT) destination wedding planning experience. I would choose them over and over again!

My husband and I live in Florida and chose Alpino Vino in Telluride as our venue to host our intimate wedding with just our closest family and friends. We began the planning process two years in advance in the thick of the pandemic. We opted to interview several local wedding planning groups, and Kristen (K2 Owner) demonstrated a superior level of professionalism, organization, kindness, and experience that made for an easy decision.

Over the course of the following two-years, Kristen and her associate, Trisha, remained in contact with me via Google Meetings and helped me select vendors that were best suited for our wedding. They helped to organize my thoughts, provided guidance and created our vision, identifying pieces I didn’t even know to articulate. They were transparent with costs and respected our budget. I never felt pressured to make a decision I didn’t feel completely comfortable with. They supported me and contributed solutions every step of the way.

We knew choosing Alpino Vino for our venue involved complicated behind-the-scenes planning and had its risks, particularly related to inclement weather. This is where the K2 team demonstrated their experience and commitment to executing a successful event.
One of largest snowstorms to hit the area all season happened on our wedding day and nothing fazed them. Kristen and her team had a solution to every curve ball and never showed panic or hesitation. They thought of everything and communicated each piece along the way without overwhelming me with information. We built a relationship throughout this entire process that left me with complete confidence in their abilities.

Our wedding exceeded my expectations in every way, they even planned a surprise sparkler exit for us! If I could re-live this experience, I would not change a thing. Not only did we receive the best wedding planning services, but we made friendships that we will always treasure.

As incredible as a planner as Kristen is, she is an even more wonderful human. My father was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer a few months before our wedding and Kristen called me willing to move the entire wedding up as soon as we needed if it meant he could attend. Even with our originally scheduled date, she made sure that she and her team did everything in their power to make him (and me) as comfortable as possible. We did not do a traditional wedding and didn’t have much time to see the area, so K2 was willing to make a custom quote for the help we needed. We live almost 1,000 miles away and decided to have our wedding at San Sophia Overlook sight unseen. After being led to Kristen, she instantly made our worries disappear. She even offered to give one of our guests a ride to the venue that we thought might be unable to make the walk from the gondola to the wedding.

We would highly recommend Kristen/K2 Event Co. for wedding planning in the Telluride area! We originally planned a wedding in June 2020 and had to postpone due to Covid. Kristen was there to give us spot-on advice about rescheduling the date, talking to vendors that had already been booked and notifying our guests.
