The room is quaint and very clean. The bed is comfortable. Plenty of pillows and towels. The bathroom and shower are new. Heater works well. The staff is great. I got there after the restaurant closed. Nicole was great. She checked me in and then brought a meal to my room.

Not really open! Stopped by at 4pm on 1-30-25. Internet said the hotel, bar and restaurant were open until 8pm. Front neon sign lit up "open". All doors locked and nobody was present. Don't make any travel plans based on their representations.

We stayed here due to it reportedly being haunted. Had our own paranormal encounters (if you believe in that). That aside, this is a great hotel for history lovers. Many historic elements of the hotel and rooms are nicely preserved.

Went there for the haunted experience and would DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!! Rooms are small but it adds to the charm of the place..the staff was nothing short of spectacular

Stopped in for a drink. Owner was super nice and gave us some history of the hotel. Although we were not staying he let us look around and explore the rooms. Plan to go back for a meal. Star ratings should be based on reviews, not whether you paid an exorbitant amount for increased stars.

Neat place. We stopped for breakfast only but we're able to check out a little bit. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food was good. Very neat building with lots of neat older things in it. The history is really interesting.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was the freshest smelling hotel room I have stayed in - no mustiness from the air conditioner at all. Our room had a lovely antique chair and desk in it, and the rest of the furnishings were new. The owner stayed late to cook my husband and I dinner. Everything was freshly cooked, and seemed garden fresh. Ask him about his beautiful renovations! We plan to stay again.

A group of us went here to stay overnight as part of an event to do some investigating on the haunted claims, and upon arrival, we are given the key for Room #7 that we had reserved since January. Another group of all women (very self-entitled) showed up and talked the owner into a giving them our Room #7 key. Then our entire group was going to move to Room #22 but those same Karens were given our #22 key also! The hotel owner then separates us into Room 5 and Room 9 in the other hall. Those women were booze fed, obnoxiously loud (I could hear them in the next hall even), they had no respect for people in the other hotel rooms, they were disrespectful when coming into an area we were investigating even though we tried to be as quest as possible when we approached their investigation areas. They hogged all the investigation areas of the hotel almost all night. The owners were mostly non-existant during all of this after our rooms were given to these women (I use this term loosely). As for these women... If you plan to have a paranormal investigation group, then learn how to be respectful of others! Refresh yourselves on what the word "share" means! After this trip to the hotel, I have no desire to go back there again. Regarding this group of women, we'll just pass on the word about their behavior and will NEVER allow them to investigate with our group. The owners of this hotel were a major disappointment and the drunk investigation team of women were disgraceful.
