Joe on night shift 4/2 and Megan on day shift 4/3 were amazing! The beds were comfortable and food was good. Our room was very clean! |Would recommend for anyone needing a stop on I-80. Joe gave me great food recommendations also!|Did not use the pool. All other amenities were great!

I can’t wait to stay at another AmericInn again, I just hope it’s as nice as this one. We had to stop driving suddenly from Minneapolis to Omaha due to a snowstorm, and thankfully there was a room here. The booking process was simple, as was the check in process. The front desk even came to help with our bags, such a nice gesture! The hotel is so clean! Definitely a well kept up small town, like other reviews said, unassuming hotel. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and it was decorated so cute for Christmas. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t swim and since we were only a short drive from home, didn’t check out the shower so I can’t speak for that. Everyone here was friendly, something rare in hotels these days. The breakfast was great, a typical continental breakfast, but again everything was clean. They had syrups to flavor the coffee, and I was impressed with both sugar and sugar free options! The fireplace in the foyer was on, making it a cozy experience, too. Great job, Stuart Iowa!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Honestly for the cost I didn’t expect much but I was quite impressed. My room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom came equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted to the shower wall in pumps so I didn’t have to unpack anything but my toothbrush. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was just enough to get me on the road without a breakfast stop. They provided eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, and toast, as well as coffee and juices. The pool was available for use and looked nice but I didn’t use it. The grounds appeared to be well taken care of and it seems the owners take pride in their property.

Not great. I had to pay $130 so my three grandchildren could swim for three hours. My room rate was $154.00. The room is mid at best. The area around the swimming pool is SO slippery! Be very careful if you bring your family. Not a safe swimming environment. Good luck!

Lovely hotel. Loved all the little touches like seasonal decor, welcome candy, etc. Amazingly clean inside every area I was in. Well lit parking with plenty of spaces.

Breakfast was stellar. So many choices, plus clean and well organized. On site guest laundry. Vending and ice machines.

The pool was freezing cold. I mean so cold I could not get in. And I swim most days, and have been to hundreds of hotels with pools. This one was ice cold. So I was thankful they had a sauna!

My key quit working twice which was annoying. It sucks getting all the way to your room only to have to tromp back to the desk with whatever you are carrying, wait for someone to be available to help, get the key reprogrammed, blah.

Room was great. Appreciated that there were double blinds instead of drapes. Truly blocked out all the light. Clean. In room amenities awesome. Comfy beds. Plenty of pillows. Full size toiletries.

Cost was $125 with taxes and fees.

It's weird to get to, which isn't their fault. It's not really even on a street. BUT- seconds from the Interstate for easy travel.

The building exterior & interior have been well updated and are well maintained. (I didn’t look at the pool area.) The staff members were friendly & efficient. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The hot breakfast included a good variety of items and was similar to breakfasts offered by Holiday Inn Express hotels.

The room was awesome. Very clean. It was very quiet you are unable to hear the other guests un the room surrounding yours. The bed was just the perfect amount of firm fluffyness.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that the breakfast sausage and eggs were cold. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and nice water pressure in the shower. The people at the front desk were quick and efficient with the check-in. We would definitely stay here again.
