I had another wonderful stay at the Salem River Inn when visiting Salem for the Annual Christmas House Tour. I was able to drop my things off early so the I could enjoy getting to Woodstown early for their Annual Christmas House tour.||After the tour and dinner I settled into my room and got a wonderful nights sleep in the Meadow Room. I highly recommend the room not just for the comfortable bed but for the peace and quiet it provides. You will get an excellent night’s sleep.||The best is that if you wake up early, you can see the sun rise from the Meadow, which is great for picture taking. It really is a beautiful site.||I went down for an early breakfast so that I could see the Salem Christmas Parade. Yvonne, the owner had a wonderful light breakfast of eggs, toast and fresh fruit which was the perfect way to start the morning.||I always enjoy the hospitality here which is why I keep returning. I highly recommend the Inn for a quick relaxing getaway.

I have been staying at the Salem River Inn for several years now especially closer to the Halloween, post Labor Day and Christmas holidays and nothing is more relaxing than an over-night stay at this hotel. Yvonne and her husband make you feel so welcome and let you relax and be on your own.||Because of a mix up in the reservation date, they upgraded me to the Tower Room the offers the most amazing views of the sunset on the Delaware Bay. It was a bigger room with a Living Room area, a small kitchen and a Tower you can climb for a better view. The bedroom has an extremely comfortable bed and I slept so soundly that night.||For breakfast that morning, Yvonne set the table for me on the deck which the weather was warm but a bit gloomy but no matter as it was still nice outside.||I was served a delicious omelet with fresh Jersey tomatoes and a gourmet bread while I relaxed and enjoyed a selection of hot teas. The sun started to peek out and I have to say when in season this is the best way to eat breakfast with those glorious views of the bay. I felt like I had been away for a week instead of one night. ||I will be back again.

Beautiful location. Yvonne and Jim are great, they are very welcoming and friendly. My son and I were in the area for a weekend soccer tournament and we found this amazing spot to rest and recover between. A very close beach access. Amazing views!!!

I recently had my wedding at Salem River Inn and it was the most perfect night. When I initially toured the venue I was taken back by the view when entering the venue. Yvonne was great with communication and helping the day run smoothly. Caroline was also amazing, especially with making sure my husband and I got to enjoy the food and drinks. It is such a beautiful venue, I loved how our guests enjoyed the entire property. I also spent the night in one of the rooms and it was so nice being on site and able to just reminisce about the day. It was the perfect backdrop for so many photos and would recommend to anyone.

If u’r looking for a great view over the water, a romantic walk down the beach and a quiet hang on a deck while watching the sun set, this quaint little bed and breakfast for you. The lady that runs the place is so very kind and attentive, great service.

My wife and I were extremely happy and satisfied with our experiences at the Salem River Inn. Our wedding included a full vegan (and mostly gluten-free) menu, that all our guests (not just the vegans) raved about. Being locals it was important to both of us to have our special day at a place that was both near to our home and shared it's natural beauty. Salem River Inn, with it's natural meadows and sweeping view of the River fit that niche perfectly. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful and it was refreshing to be dealing with owners who are so obviously proud of and in love with their place. Much gratitude to Yvonne, Jim, and staff for making our wedding day fantastic!

We had a lovely stay at the Salem River Inn on our way through to the beach. We loved the River Room, as well as the breakfast the next morning. The service was spectacular!
