This is a no frill cabin that was comfortable and suited all our needs. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen well stocked to cook a frozen pizza and make some breakfast in the morning. Quiet, didn't hear our neighbors.. Lots of trees. Good TV connectivity. Staff friendly. We would stay again.

Great place. Rustic cabins set in a beautiful peaceful setting. We went to get away from the phoenix heat and had a great time. Cabin was clean, well equipped and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Bed very comfortable and it was nice to feel the cool breeze. There is easy access to walking trails. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Reception staff was great. Came by to ensure we were comfortable. I am recommending whispering pines to friends planning a family get together this fall. We definitely will return. We felt welcomed.

We came here for our anniversary. We purposely got cabin 38 for the spa. First night realized just 2 plates, couldn’t cook anything nothing to put it in. The front burner on the stove which is the big one didn’t work had to cook on small burners with the cheap pans, they just burn. Out last night we wanted to go in the spa. But the water coming out of the faucet, was extremely slow. Got to the top of the jets 45 minutes later. . Water cold and on top of that it didn’t work. NO SPA!!!! So much for our exciting stay for our anniversary. Don’t know if this place is just going down hill but for almost 600 for 3 day stay was the worst money I ever spent. Then u must wash your own dishes or they charge another $45 cleaning fee on top of the other 45 cleaning fee

Peaceful rustic cabin that were well equipped. Beds were comfy. Enjoyed the week I stayed there with family. Reception staff (Celeste and Clarissa) were cheerful and helped with any questions/needs we needed. Truly enjoyed the wind rustling the trees. Look forward to my next visit.

The property is very nice and well maintained. I thought the fees were extremely excessive, especially the $26 fee just to pay with my credit card. The map shows a jacuzzi but there isn't one. I called about a propane grill and was told it was near the playground. When I arrived, they said the BBQ grille has been gone for a long time. YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR MAP. The host gave me some charcoal and lighter fluid for the patio grille so that was nice. Also, the cabin was very outdated (they call it rustic) and was VERY STUFFY from 1pm until midnight. I thought I was going to have to sleep on the patio. There was one fan in the living room but none in the bedroom. At least put up some ceiling fans or install an AC window unit in the bedroom. I spent over $500 for two nights and almost half for taxes and additional fees. The cleaning fee is ridiculous that is part of doing business and should be incorporated into the nightly rent. Simply WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and will not be staying there unless the price drops and there are upgrades. Darbi's is a very nice restaurant next to the property.

Exceptional one-bedroom cabin featuring a spacious king-size bed and an additional double bed. Impeccably clean, adorned with wood-style flooring throughout. This well-appointed accommodation includes a fireplace, a generously sized kitchen, and a dining room table. The property boasts an extraordinary deck, providing a remarkable opportunity to immerse oneself in nature. Additionally, indulge in relaxation with a spa tub, making this cabin the ideal destination for a fantastic family getaway. Conveniently located near stores, restaurants, and the lake, this property ensures a truly rejuvenating experience for all.

Stay away. The place had hidden fees that were not disclosed on VRBO and they tried to charge twice. Saying it was an error. It took me to call several times to find out why the amount I should have been charged on VRBO is different than what was showing on cc transaction. It was not the amount that bothers me, but the fact that i feel it was not disclosed on purpose. VRBO transferred me to a lady that was completely rude. Said that there’s never been a issue with charging people it before and once it’s explained its a processing fee everyone else is ok with it. Also added, I should have known about the fee because it happens anywhere. No. It doesn’t happen everywhere. She told me she would look into refunding the fee, then hung up. The unit was so old and dirty. The couch literally is falling apart in the middle. It smelled awful in there. I won’t ever recommend this place

Cabins are rustic, and homey. We go here a couple times a year. The pull out couch beds could be replaced, but not a deal breaker. You’ll get a fully prepared and clean cabin located close to food and shopping.
