Marianne helped my family and I arrange a very complex trip to Ireland. I’m talking 4 people, 2 cars, over 6 cities/towns, various departure dates; nothing you’d want to attempt on your own. Her choice of hotels, sites, and transportation were spot on. When we did have difficulty understanding a car transfer, she stepped right in (from back here in the States) to get us on track and moving. We had a great time and it was all through Marianne and Avenue Travel.

My experience with Marianne was awful. She never returns calls or emails and when I asked questions or asked for any type of guidance to say the least, she was not helpful AT ALL. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but once we arrived to the hotel (which we paid over $5,000 for), it was awful. To top it off, she gave my boyfriend and I completely different seats on the plane. As an American Express card holder, I would expect better service. The only reason I got an American Express Card was for travel purposes and the benefits of Amex travel. I would have been better off planning this on my own.
