We originally booked our room for a two night stay back on November 2nd 2024 at your Baton Rouge Super 8 location using our rewards points thru Wyndham rewards. We received our confirmation email on that same day. I went to check the night before leaving for our trip and lo and behold our reservation had been cancelled on February 3rd. We did not cancel it. After several phone calls between the facility itself and Wyndham, no one was of any help. We spoke directly with the franchisee (owner) of this location. He first tried to tell us that it was our fault. I explained to him it was not. He agreed it was his fault, that it’s his business and he can do what he wants and just cancel. He also he admitted it was Super Bowl weekend and he wanted the money and just can cancel reservations for anyone. Wyndam was no help. I get to wait a week for someone to call me back and was not compensated for anything. Finally, he lied about his name “Mike” and hung up on me. Because of this, the day I was supposed to check in I had to book at another hotel in a different city for $300. Plus the other parties in my group had to relocate at an additional $100. We should be compensated or reimbursed that money. I paid for those points and need to be compensated the $400.

STAY AWAY! DON'T GO THERE! It was a total waste of money and time and was tragic from beginning to end. Bathtub drain was clogged so showering was impossible. Room stunk of chlorine and mildew. The noise level from other guests partying in common areas made it impossible to sleep. After calling the front desk for the third time (and having them do nothing) we returned our room keys at midnight and drove two hours to our home so we could sleep. If I could give them zero stars I would

Days Inn at Wyndham, Bordertown N.J McGuire AFB, is deplorable. Conditions that are substandard. Dirty sheets, bugs, pillows stained, dirty towels, dogs parking early in the morning, trash and litter under the beds. The lobby smells like bad body odor, and marijuana. Transient people wandering around. The
area is sketchy, random people coming through. It does not feel safe if you have your family here. This place need to be reported to the state health department. Beware do not stay at this Days Inn.

Bad experience: Stayed at a Wyndham hotel in downtown Austin recently. The blankets were covered in hair, there were large moldy stains everywhere, it smelled like crap, the bathroom light made a non stop flickering sound, the tv plug was so old it was rusty and not even fully plugged, and the entire property on the outside was in destitute shape. I got pictures, left my room keys on the bed, and booked at a much nicer hotel down the road for $15 more. I contacted Wyndham and all they offered was a negligible discount in points for future use even though I paid nearly $100 for the downtown hotel. They then referred me back to the third party booking service (my credit card bank, even though they don’t have control of the property), and my bank kept being left on hold when they tried reaching out to the property. My bank is working with me for a solution on their end, but it’s a shame that Wyndham took no ownership and offers no resolutions for customers affected by terrible experiences. Do not stay at Wyndham. For your sake.

Wyndam is HORRIBLE!!!! My son and I are homeless. We’ve been staying at a local Wyndam hotel because it’s cheap where we live, and they don’t charge a deposit. I had enough points for a free night and when I tried to use those points for a free night at our preferred hotel last night, but they were completely booked. So, we decided to use those points for another Wyndham hotel. Unfortunately, they charge a deposit, which we couldn’t afford. Obviously, we canceled the reservation.

I kept calling the Wyndham corporate office, but they’re giving me the run around and they are refusing to return my points to me. It took us a long time to earn those points for a free night. But even though we’re homeless, they still refuse to return our points because we didn’t cancel within the 24-hour time frame that we require. We didn’t make the reservation until about 15 minutes before we went to the hotel, so we couldn’t cancel the reservation 24 hours ahead of time. There is NO EXCUSE for these jerks to refuse to give us our 7,500 points back!!! They’re being selfish and major jerks!!!!! They’re still giving me the run around. I even asked to speak to a supervisor, and she gave me the same lies as the other 2 agents and now she’s pretending that she has to transfer me to another department, even though that’s the department I called in the first place. They still refuse to refund me my rewards points.

DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL!!!! Just had the worst experience with this hotel. Arrived at the property on friday night for a family event on Saturday. We had reserved a block of rooms coming from NJ for the weekend. We were charged over $200/night for 2 nights prior to checking in. WE DID NOT STAY! THIS HOTEL IS A DISGRACE! We were traveling with seniors and young children. The rooms had bugs and were dirty. Other guests hanging outside the rooms we were assigned were questionable. The front desk staff had the nerve to tell us they would charge us $50/per night deposit for any damage to the room. We then had to scramble to find another hotel a distance from our event that could accommodate us on such short notice. After letting the front desk know that our whole party (8 rooms) would not be staying and we would expect a full refund, of course we were told we had to call in the morning to request a refund. The staff have been extremely uncooperative in assisting us with our refunds. Time to notify Wyndham Corporate office!

If anyone ever files lawsuit for this company please include me as well. This company need to be closed for good. I called there customer support (not the 3rd party service, I called their customer support number) to book the room only if I can do early check in. They got my basic info and asked card information for which I was confused mentioned clearly "will I be charged if they don''t allow early checkin?", the lady from customer support said "NO, I will be charged only after I go to hotel and do check in but if hotel does not allow early checkin then I will not be charged". Which later on I came to know is their BAIT AND SWITCH tactics. Now they chargde me and denying refund saying I did not cancel room. At first I never asked to book if no early checkin was allowed.
So, I may not be the only customer they had done this bait and switch. Is anyone is filing a lawsuit kindly reply this review, you will have my full support.

First hotel I stayed in has bed bugs. Tried to handle it with the hotel management and they never contacted me.
Booked a room in a Baymont. It wound up being a fleabag hotel with families living in it. Didn't stay.
Booked a room and contacted Wyndham's price guarantee group because I found the same room at a lower price. Even got a letter from Expedia detailing the lower rate and still no movement on the part of Wyndham. Then wrote Wyndham's CEO and still got no response.
Stayed at a Wyndham resort in Orlando. Way overpriced for what u get. And extra resort and parking fees. And the parking involved u squeezing your car through an obstacle course.
