Well, 5 minutes into the ride a storm started heading our direction, so we turned back. We sat on the porch and enjoyed a hot beverage with Mr Ramey for 45 minutes hoping the storm would pass. It didn't, but Mr Ramey is friendly and fun to visit with, and the horses were super sweet. My 5 minute ride was on Dolly, who was gentle and responsive. The dog Gus was a lot of fun too. Overall it was pretty awesome just hanging out on the ranch watching the storm. Looking forward to trying again another time. Will definitely reach out to Mr Ramey for a trail ride the next time I'm in the area. Pricing is very reasonable.
