Hay Adams Hotel Washington DC. Reserved a room with a view but upon arrival was told nothing available. Wasn’t offered a credit to compensate but finally after much effort did receive a small credit. This incident left me questioning it to be a LHW.

Nice ifq you travelling in couple. But not quite family friendly. If you book family (2people +) room only 2 breakfast included through LHW membership. You have to pay children breakfast. Also no change of hotel spending into points like you see by Bonvoy or Discovery GHA. LHW membership also do not accept direct booking with hotel nevertheless they offer higher booking rates than direct hotel booking websites. In the case you are booking connecting room for family, the advantage of earlier checkin or late checkout is counting just for one room. A lot of improvement is needed for family use..
