Last night, we hosted our annual fundraising event, “Pasta For Puppies!“ At LaMalfa Centre in Mentor, Ohio.
After 11 years of bringing nearly 800 of our closest family and friends together for this event, it was by far the most pleasant experience we’ve ever had.
The staff at Puppy Raisers for the Blind, Inc. would like to make a shout out to Marty LaMalfa, and his staff, Allie and Madison and all the nameless workers that did a fantastic job serving our guests and making us feel at home.
From the many trays of pastries provided complementary, to the excellent service that we received, LaMalfa has proven to be a first class operation.

I had my wedding at LaMalfa in April 2024 and it was absolutely amazing!! I worked with Ali, Jessica and Gina to orchestrate my 200 guests wedding and reception and they made the process so smooth. We stayed at the attached hotel, Wyngate by Wyndham and everything was done to perfection. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived, the food was phenomenal and drinks were definitely worth it! If there were any hiccups, I never found out about them. Almost three months later, I am still receiving compliments from my guests on the venue. Any big event that I have in the future, LaMalfa will be my first option. Thank you so much for accommodating us and making sure my wedding was everything we wanted!

I truly wanted to say from start to finish I felt our wedding reception could have not gone better. Being in the customer service industry myself, I hate not knowing things, and not being able to accommodate customers is unacceptable. When we walked in and met with Marty over a year ago, he was very organized and up front with pricing, which is not what we ran into with other places we called and had appointments with. Then Ali taking care of all the planning with us and accommodating us right up to the day of with changes. Every guest we had RAVED about the food and the EXCELLENT bartenders Dan and Candy. Nicole our ballroom captain was on point with us because of late arrivals she let us hold servings for them. They truly made us feel special and would always recommend to hold any event there.

Owner is a jerk, and the staff that he hires are not professional and not friendly. Food used to be good, but now it is bland and over processed, have better food a cheap Chinese buffet... would deff recommend not using this place for any of your party needs.

Sell the place. No longer an Italian banquet hall. The WORST buffet I’ve ever been to. I truly believe most items that were available were saved from the previous week.

Everything was horrible. Everything was ice cold, a bunch of pre-made salads, they put out 10 pieces of shrimp at a time and people had to wait. It was ice cold in the building, I think that was a ploy to not make people stay very long. And you had to pay for a pop or a beverage separately on top of that. Very chintzy

Did my cousins wedding here. Can’t give it 5 stars because banquet manager told our DJ to feed the guest before the wedding party. They also put away the food very early. Food was amazing and event went off without any issues.
