We enjoyed our float down the river - first-time kayaking! The associates were very nice and knowledgeable. The process to get paperwork completed and the trip paid for is simplified and easy. They have life vests for just about every size person. The bus ride is rather fun, honestly, and made me think back to my school days.
When you complete the trip, there are associates who pull your boat out of the water for you (very nice, I thought).
One caveat... and the folks at Adventures can't control this, but if you're thinking of taking your children, it's worth mentioning.
There are parties going on all down the river... drinking, foul (and I mean FOUL) language, drunken and pot-induced behavior, and a few times...we felt...mob type vibes. All that combined, I wouldn't take small children on this trip, but that's me. Be aware, and it is still enjoyable. There were stretches where it was super quiet and peaceful, too. We went in the afternoon, so perhaps if you went earlier in the day, those folks might still be sleeping off their activities from the night previous, lol.
Anyway, a good outfit is well-run. We will go back because we love the water and this is close to home.

Went on a Monday afternoon and wasn't crowded at all. Easy check in and 20 min wait to go to the drop point. Went on a tube and was fine. Nice short float for a day trip. Also friendly dogs live here that are very calm.

Had a great time kayaking with my girls. The rental process was quick and affordable. And I liked that there weren't timed deployments, so we were taken to the drop off point as groups became ready. The water levels were low at some points, but we should've paid attention to water levels before heading out that day. Didn't deter us from having a great time though. The 3 mile trek took us 2 hours at a relaxed/comfortable pace.

The girls at registration were friendly and the rented equipment was in good shape. However, we came on a federal holiday and they did not prepare at all for increased customers. We waited over an hour to be transported to the put in location. As a result, we had to hurry through the last two miles of our “lazy day on the river”. The woman driving the van was a little abrasive and complained about other customers being rude to her. Apparently people jumped line and were transported out of order.

I suggest being there the moment they open or confirming they have busses available the day you plan to go rather than only vans.

Went there with my husband and two young teenage daughters. Had an amazing time! Staff was great and very efficient.. not to mention super helpful with our two girls who were new to kayaking! Equipment is all nice and they have so many kayaks/canoes/floats you don’t need a reservation (we even went on Labor Day) 100% will go back again.

A fun time. Yes it is $40 a kayak, yes they don’t allow dogs, yes they cancel if the river is high, but this is all clearly said on their website. I thought all the staff was lovely, Miley the dog was sweet, and I even left my hat behind and they had it waiting for me two days later. I will definitely be back! We had so much fun on the river and saw so much wildlife!

I go kayaking here several times a year and it is a very easy and fun experience. I would only anticipate a few hours for this activity. Over the years, I have watched this place grow, it looks like currently, they are revamping things, keep up the good work! I will always come here during the summer a few times a month.

We had an awesome time. Great camping spot. Great fishing. Lots of sun and shade. The river ride was a fun time. Only issue we had was a cat on property. Kept trying to get into our stuff. Employees were nice and helpful. We will be coming back soon.
