Retreat 21 is an amazing venue! I had my wedding here in May of 2024 and am so happy I did! I had booked relatively early on (I believe I toured it the week before they hosted their first wedding!) so there have been a lot of changes to the process since. When I booked I had more flexibility over who to use as vendors for catering and such. Now they have moved to in house catering which is convenient and more common with the “all inclusive” type venues. I loved that there were cabins on the property to rent out! Family and friends really enjoyed getting to rent those out for the wedding! They handled all the table set up and tear down and they have both an indoor and outdoor ceremony option. If you’re looking for a unique venue with beautiful views this is the place! This “all inclusive” luxury does come at a hefty price tag so be prepared. There is also less flexibility in terms of vendor options because of the “all inclusive” aspect of it.

As a wedding planner local to Columbus, Retreat 21 is one of our top favorites! They truly thought of everything – with all the little touches that make an event flow efficiently. The team goes above beyond for their clients and vendor partners. We have done summer, fall, and winter weddings at Retreat 21 and all have been wonderful regardless of the season. We look forward to working there again soon and highly recommend this venue!!

If you are planning a wedding and looking for a venue in Central Ohio, I highly suggest checking out Retreat 21. We got married in August and found this venue because it's close to us in Plain City. The second we toured it and met Maggie, one of the event coordinators at the venue, we knew it was the place for us to say "I do". The outside wedding ceremony space is something out of a fairy tale. The whimsical nature of the outdoor space, plus the modern, chic vibe inside, just made this the perfect location to get married. Maggie and Mikayla were absolutely fantastic to work with. I've never met more communicative event coordinators! The day of everyone was so accommodating and reassuring, especially since we had about 15 minutes of rain leading up to the ceremony, but they made it happen. The bar staff, Gourmet Fresh catering staff, grounds crew, were all fantastic! Mind you, the food at our wedding is something we STILL get compliments about. All I can say is thank you to everyone who had a part in the Tucker wedding because it was unforgettable!

Retreat 21 is an amazing venue! Their staff was so helpful and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous with beautiful scenery. I loved the bridal suite and the guys were able to get ready in the waterfront cabin across the pond. Great mix between modern and rustic with a touch of enchanted forest 😊

I highly recommend Retreat 21 as a top-tier event venue! My non-profit organization hosted a day-long educational workshop there this past fall, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The event coordinators were exceptional—professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with, making the planning process stress-free from start to finish. They promptly addressed all our questions and ensured that every detail was managed with care. Their on-site staff the day of the event made sure everything flowed seamlessly.

Retreat 21 is nestled in the woods and offers a tranquil atmosphere that feels like a true escape from the city, yet remains conveniently close to Columbus for our attendees. The venue itself is modern, beautifully designed, and versatile. I found their corporate event pricing very reasonable, especially for such a high-quality space.

Our attendees were equally impressed, with many stepping outside to take group photos against the picturesque backdrop before departing. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another event at Retreat 21 in the future!

Retreat 21 is the best wedding venue I have ever shot at! There is so much space to keep the girls separate from the guys for getting ready shots and relaxing time before walking down the aisle. There is so much natural light throughout the entire venue and so many different locations to get a different variety of backdrops for the photos. There are wildflowers, trees, vineyards, cabins, rocks, waterfalls, cabins, and absolutely beautiful spaces all around. Tons of space for parking which is always an important piece of the planning process for big events. This is a perfect venue for couples who love nature, the outdoors, and each other. I can't think of a more perfect place to tie the knot! The team at Retreat 21 is just as great as the location. Very involved with helping out, answering questions, and making sure the day runs smoothly for everyone. I can't wait to work with the team at Retreat 21 again in the future!

We picked Retreat 21 when it was still under construction. I was so excited to have a clean, new, and modern venue. We honestly did not have to decorate much as the place is so beautiful as is. The slightest touches made our vision come to life. It was amazing to have the option to stay on site. The cabins where everything we need and more! Of course it reduced any wedding stress knowing the whole event is in on place. Michaela was there from the start and I cannot say enough about her❤️ She is SO friendly and easy to work with. The day was amazing and went so smoothly. Oh, and you HAVE to choose the in house catering. So delicious!
