We had a great time on Portage Lakes Cruises! Scheduling and coordination was very easy and Judy (coordinator) and Pat (our captain) were wonderful. We had a bachelorette party and even though you can’t drink on the lake, Pat took us to bars and offered us advice on fun places to go later in the evening. She knows her stuff and Judy helped so much along the way! If we ever come back to Portage Lakes, we will revisit the cruises.

Loved it!!! Captain Judy is an awesome tour guide! My son and I went on a very nice boat ride around Portage Lakes.

She never once got tired of answering his 5000 questions. She let him drive the boat when it was safe to do so and he loved it!

Thank you very much for the relaxing ride around the lakes.

Update: We are returning customers, loved it! On a day with a little bit of rain we had the lake all to ourselves. My son got to drive the boat even more and he couldn't be happier! Thank you very much Captain Judy!

Saw the cruises on 'New Day Cleveland' show and couldn't wait to go. It was a perfect day for the cruise. It was a very relaxing and fun experience. Captain Penny made it very fun and we learned so much about the area. I will definitely recommend this to others and will probably be back for another trip! Thank you.

This place deserves “5” stars! My wife and I used Portage Lakes Cruises for the first time with our two daughters and loved it! Captain Steve was so knowledgeable and made the tour of the lakes engaging and interesting. We will be return customers and encourage everyone to give it a try.

My daughter and I love to be on the water on those warm summer days or even as Fall approaches and this has been a great way to enjoy all that the Lakes offer. It's informative, and we have celebrated our Birthdays on the pontoon boat. Would recommend to anyone, easy for older or even handicapped individuals .

If there is one thing you must do in the area.... it is taking some time for yourself to experience Portage Lakes Cruises. Captain Kevin was far and beyond the best guide we could have asked for. Kevin was personable, kind, knowledgeable, and an absolute hoot. My cheeks hurt from smiling! Kevin really loves what he does and there is nothing better than having the chance to learn from someone like that. I didn't know anything about the history of the area but enjoyed our 2-hour cruise and came out of it knowing so much more than I did before. There was water and chips for us as well as blankets!

We parked in the free large parking lot across the street from Smoke on the Water. Our Friday night cruise was heavenly and watching the sunset on the water was the best!

PLX Cruises offers many types of experiences... there really is something for everyone. Next year we are planning on a public cruise as well as one of their tea parties!

A group of friends & I rented a pontoon boat last July & had a fabulous time. Beautiful weather, we brought snacks , got sun burned and our captain was very nice and informative about the lakes and area. Ate dinner after at Pikes overlooking the lake.
