Played in June 2024. Had vague memories of playing this a long time ago when it was called the Fox's Den. I played it on a hot, dry day. I'm actually surprised how green and soft the fairways/greens were. Considering it's supposed to be, at least I think, a linksy style course, they may keep it a bit softer than it's supposed to be, but that's not really a complaint. I did like how they don't cut the grass around the tee boxes, which creates a linkish vibe. At first I thought it was by accident, but as you play the course, you notice it's intentional, and adds to the scenery.

The course itself has a good layout, even though most of the holes goes thru a housing development. There is lots of water in play, especially on the par 3's and par 5's. The wind was pretty consistent, and added some challenge as well. Hole 15 had a really cool pano view of the surrounding area. I think the back 9 is the better 9 as it has less influence from the housing development, but there's still some good holes on the front as well.

Jim Fazio designed the course - brother to the much more known Tom Fazio, but Jim still has quite a list of course designs. I think this is a hidden gem in the NW/Central Ohio area.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, is I thought it was a bit pricey for what it is. I walked it on weekday around 11, and it was $29. Not outrageous, but a bit pricey for walking.

Other than that, I enjoyed the day, and the course!

Nice golf course, difficult and fun.

We watched a high school golf ACAC Tournament here and the people were nice and the grounds were well taken care of.

The wind surprised us the 2 times we were here but our daughter said that made it fun.

I recommend this place and their clean restrooms too.

I only started golfing about 4 months ago and I have to say that this is the perfect place. All of the staff are extremely welcoming and I absolutely love the course, I play about 2 or 3 times a week and I just can’t get enough. The course is challenging enough that experienced golfers will have a nice time and welcoming enough that beginner golfers like myself can improve and work on our game. Jim, Rob, and the rest of the staff are amazing and are really nice people to be around and really do make you feel welcomed no matter your skill level.

I’d rate the overall conditioning B+. Considering the overall dryness of our summer, the place was in great shape.

The greens were quick and true. Tee boxes are large, level and very well-maintained. The fairways are well-maintained. My only complaints would be that the traps are hard and not worked up on a daily basis and the cart paths could use some potholes fixed. I will definitely return, many times.

Last day of March on a nasty windy and rainy day. The guy at the club house was very helpful and drove the golf cart right to my truck. Only did the front 9 and to my estimate was the only cart out. Course was in great shape and had a blast. Got soaked and shot a 45....without shame. I can't wait to go back and do all 18.

*Update*

Golfed 18 today. Course was in great condition and the greens were fast. Lot of people out today with the warm 65deg and sunny weather. Still a 5 star rating even with 5 idiots out in 2 golf carts and sharing 2 bags of clubs. Someone from the clubhouse came out and talked to them after they had the entire front 9 backed up from hole 8 and behind.

Kudos to the staff and everyone who had the course in such great shape this early in the season.

Played this course today 10/14/2020. The course was in good shape. The greens were fast and rolled true. We really liked the setup and liked how the water played into some holes. The staff were real friendly. Wish they would work on the cart paths, but we definitely be back.

Really fun course with some challenging holes, but overall not too difficult for the average hacker to enjoy.

Greens are usually great and fairways generally pretty lush.

Unless you physically can't manage, do yourself a favor and walk this course. It's not a hard walk and you can pick up on some subtleties on foot you'd miss in a cart.

Nice track and reasonably priced. Starting to come back to it's former glory. Still a lot of work to do with regards to the bunkers and some fairways. Some bunkers have no sand and some of the fairways are burnt out in areas. The greens are in pretty good shape and receptive.
