We found this camp by accident and have now attended Family Camp 2 years in a row. The location is tucked into a beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest that is only a 10-15 min drive from the historic downtown of Prescott, but it feels like you are really off the beaten path while on the camp grounds. The staff is extremely warm and inviting and great at their jobs. The climbing and high ropes activities are our favorite but the campfires with s’mores, art, archery, mountain biking, canoeing (the list can go on) are all so much fun! I grew up working and attending a great camp in NW Montana and my bar is set pretty high for camp experiences and I love it at Campway. Great for family bonding and it provides an important opportunity to unwind in a very modern world, all while being very close to the Phoenix metro area. We will be back! Thank you for the memories Campway!!

My husband and I had our wedding at CampWay in September 2022 with about 110 people (we planned our wedding in 3 months, it's doable!). We wanted a venue that would celebrate the outdoors and provide space to connect with friends and family for a more extended period of time since so many were coming from out of town!

Our wedding was like going back to summer camp and being with your friends all the time, but this time with WAY better food, more comfort, alcohol, and elegance. It was truly stunning, and as a bride, the staff put my mind at ease and was extremely easy to work with every step of the way. This is the venue for you if you want a dreamy outdoor forest wedding that fosters community and connection!

Jonathan and Matt were responsive and helpful from the start! We had everything we needed to embrace the outdoors but add extra twists of elegance. CampWay handled everything from drop off to the setup of our décor. They worked magic with the setup; everything looked better than I imagined! But honestly, the camp speaks for itself; every nook and cranny, every path and building has a charm and beauty to it. We had a band set up for the reception and dancing until the wee hours of the morning! We also had fun activities (like ziplining, high ropes course, axe throwing, etc.) that created lasting memories for kids and everyone.

I can only write this review by talking about FOOD. It was all fantastic, from breakfast to lunch to dinner to brunch the morning after (shout out to the lead chef!). They provided menu options but were very accommodating to whatever we wanted to serve. They made special requests and adhered to our guest's dietary restrictions.

Not to mention CampWay was the most affordable option we found! We had the whole camp to ourselves the entire weekend. Not having the time barriers made our wedding the best weekend of our lives! They went above and beyond for our group in so many ways and I am truly grateful for our wedding weekend. We 100% plan on renting the camp again for our 10 year anniversary!

This was such a fantastic and unexpected experience for our family, and exactly what we needed to get out of the daily grind and Phoenix heat. The camp itself is great - shaded by tall pine trees, deer that roam around freely, a lake for boating, a pool for swimming, tennis courts, horse back riding, and all kinds of great Arizona-outdoor stuff like zip lines, ax throwing, and a huge rock wall. The staff was fantastic and made the camp experience extra fun with s'mores and camp songs and lots of encouragement to try new things (the grown-ups needed it more than the kids!). It was awesome to have this first camp experience with our kids, and I'm super jealous that they go back by themselves this summer.

If you want a unique but incredibly beautiful place to have your wedding then I highly suggest Campway. I was blown away at how they handled the wedding for my two dear friends. From the planning to the execution on the wedding day they took such great care in all the details plus more. When you think of a summer camp you think of great memories of your childhood and all the activities it entails. This camp tied all of that in and still created a wedding weekend to remember. Also, the wedding reception dinner was delectable and exceeded all expectations. The unique atmosphere of the camp tied with the romantic vibes of the wedding created a perfect weekend thanks to the assiduous staff at Campway. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a whole wedding weekend adventure!

We went to Campway as part of a 2 night 5th grade school field trip. I attended as a chaperone. We had about 65 kids and 15 chaperones. From the moment we pulled up on the buses the staff had everything super organized and kept the kids engaged. Our small group leader Hannah was awesome! The kids absolutely loved her! The kids also loved the food, activities, and camp songs! I would highly recommend Campway for a large group field trip. My kids are even interested in possibly doing the summer camp now. Thank you Campway staff!
