We cannot say enough about our wedding planning experience with Christi and Richard at the Belarusan Event Center! Christi and Richard truly are an amazing team - they go above and beyond to make your dreams become reality. They listen to your ideas, provide visual decor examples, prepare multiple unique dishes for a menu tasting, respond quickly and they’re very accommodating. We had our wedding over a month ago and our guests are still raving over the delicious food (everyone said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding), gorgeous decor, service and amenities. It’s the perfect space for any event, wedding, corporate conference, family gathering, etc. We highly recommend having your event at BEC because they’re passionate about customizing your event, they’re extremely thoughtful and throughout the planning process they felt like family. We will always remember everything you did for us, thank you for making our wedding celebration so special!

We came here for a fish fry for a few years and we always enjoyed it. This time was not very good. To start off, it was cold outside and even colder inside. The sign outside said the fish fry hours were from 4:30-7. We were there at 4:45 and they were not close to ready. They were remodeling the event hall so I am not sure if this is part of the issue. The food was just okay and the portions were a bit small for the price. There are plenty of other fish frys around town. Unfortunately, for me this was so bad that I will not be back.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had originally planned to be married May 9th, but due to COVID-19 postponed to July 25th. Throughout all the craziness and uncertainty, Christi kept in contact keeping us calm & assuring us all precautions will be taken to keep our guests safe. She was always available via email and even text! The venue is so spacious our guests were able to keep distance. The outdoor area was big enough for almost all 150 guests to be out there comfortably- they allowed us to bring our corn hole boards and large jenga so our guests had things to do. The Belarusan provides seriously everything- decor items, little extras in the bathrooms like spray deodorant bobby pins and hair spray, a large selection of linens, fresh flower centerpieces, set up, clean up, nonalcoholic bar items, catering, chairs, etc. They do not provide the alcohol, but give you a guide on what to buy depending on the number of guests- we bought what they told us and we didn't have too much left over! It also saved us thousands of dollars compared to paying per person for bar service. If it weren't for the pandemic we would have had a relatively stress free time wedding planning because of everything they do. All of our guests told us the venue was gorgeous.

We received SOOOO MANY compliments on the food. We have some serious foodies and all of them said you go in to weddings expecting the food to be okay, but the food Rich prepared was far beyond any other wedding food. Even when we talked to Rich to pick out the food you can hear his passion for cooking, so much he started a garden to grow his own herbs and produce on the property! During our ceremony rehearsal Friday night Rich even brought out FRESH baked, still warm and gooey chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies and waters for us.

The service staff were all so polite! Due to COVID-19, they did set out less food and replenished more often. They were on top of it!

Basically, I can't say enough how amazing The Belarusan Event Center is. If you are looking for a super inclusive venue then this is it!!

Christi does an awesome job decorating the hall and working with the bride and groom and their families. She is efficient, patient and organized. I felt comfortable and confident working with her and our daughter’s wedding reception was perfect!
Richard is a master chef creating wonderful menu options. The food was delicious and our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had.

Thank you to Christi and Richard for your hard work and expertise. On August 14, 2021, my daughter and her new husband had the wedding reception of their dreams. Everything from walking through the door, which was breathtaking, to last call, which never felt rushed or pushed, was done efficiently and seemlessly. The hall was breathtaking and the food was deliciously amazing. We heard comment after comment all night. The decor and food were highly praised by all. Even our bartender was a hit. All of the employees were hard working, polite and friendly. The bathrooms were neat, clean, and beautiful. I really cannot say enough. If you're looking for a venue that is inclusive and beautiful with a high end feel, without high end pricing that has food that people will talk about for years, with staff that take care of everything for you so you can just enjoy your event, this is absolutely your venue.

I can't recommend this venue highly enough. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Christi was great at accommodating our wedding that was supposed to be on 5/23 but had to be moved to 8/22. She was great at keeping in touch with all of the uncertainty around COVID-19. Aside from that, the venue is beautiful and her husband Richard makes amazing food. One of the things we heard the most from our guests was how good the food was. An added bonus that our guests loved was the outside back patio. An all around great night at the Belarusan Event Center!

Christi and Richard were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding ceremony and reception. Not only were they incredibly kind and immensely accommodating, but the food was off-the-charts fabulous. We got endless praise from our guests on everything from the serving and bartending staff, to the cleanliness and beauty of the hall. I highly recommend Belarusan Event Center!!!
