Simply sharing my experience on the process of booking with these amazing people!
My fiance and I fell in love with this Venue, and we were just worried we wouldn’t be able to afford it, but Beth did such an amazing job working with us and making this place a reality for our wedding . I’m so excited to host our day here next July ❤️

Great experience for an entire weekend wedding! We have 3 kids under 9 and stayed in two of the stables. They were more than adequate to serve and our family and the grounds themselves more than made up for any lack of space in our rooms. That is not a knock on the rooms themselves as they were great, they were just small (the stables rooms and we knew they were small going into it). Overall a great place to have a getaway or event! Staff were very friendly and helpful. 10/10!

My husband and I had a reservation for Sat. 10/5/2024. Traveling with a dog we were very excited to find this place. Upon arrival NOONE was there and another gentleman was waiting to check in, as well. Noone showed up and we left. Having a dog, another option was difficult to find, we ended up at a motel 6. It was clean and the manager was so nice. This review is more for the owner than a perspective guest. Do not leave your lodge unattended while going out with no sign as to when you will be back.it was our first day of vacation and a long travel day. It was an unnecessary glitch in our plans and an unnecessary waste of our vacation time looking for other options....WITHADOG

We landed on a 3-month engagement, which seemed like a risky idea at the time, but Millsite truly made it possible! And the experience proved to be not just “possible,” but ENJOYABLE! They have a top-tier team that helps you think through all of the details and brings your vision to life. With lodging on-site, we were able to enjoy the entire weekend with our bridal parties and families, and we were told again and again, “This is the best wedding ever” by our guests! With the full decor package and delicious catering through the Colonnade, Millsite allowed us to focus on what truly mattered most during this life-changing season!!! 10/10 would recommend!

Millsite was the perfect place to have a wedding! As a mother of the bride I could fully enjoy the wedding weekend experience! Why? Every single detail was covered by the experienced team of sisters who made the magic happen! My daughter was able to have the dream wedding I always wanted for her! I highly recommend Millsite and the Oak at Millsite because of the beautiful facility and even more beautiful, hospitable sisters who treat you like family!

Found this gem on VRBO and so glad that I decided to stay here.
The stable rooms are perfectly sized. The grounds are amazing with a hint of the properties past as a stable, the former clay shooting stations, the creek with fish for fly fishing, and the open space make it a perfect retreat.
Secluded area if you want to relax for a weekend getaway. Close to a wide variety of activities that include food and beverages.
The hosts were super friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed an evening by the fire and conversation with them.
Definitely plan on coming back again!

Recently returned with my brothers and their wives, definitely recommend this quiet campus hidden far from the country road, but not more than 5 minutes' drive from Sandusky (we were visiting for business). |Initially was s groomsman in a unique, all-weekend retreat-style wedding at Millsite. That was beautiful, BEAUTIFUL. We had the entire property rented to stay at, including all three days and very attractive comfortable accommodations.|Theres a bunch of options for room type, there's trout fishing, bikes, fire pit at night, big kitchen space to use.||Weekend-long winter parties would be incredible here, with snow and the early-American- looking genteel setting from a Christmas card

Our HS basketball team was in town for a weekend summer tournament, Millsite Lodge was a laid back, fun option for the team to be together & bond overnight. Great facilities for boosters to cook for the team vs eat junk. Hosts are so welcoming and truly want you to enjoy. We will be back!!
