I regularly travel between the east coast and the midwest and have stayed here more than once in different seasons.
The rooms are always spotless and well appointed.
The location, right on Lake Erie, is in my humble opinion the best part of Ohio.
I appreciate the personal service I have always gotten from the owners and look forward to my next stay.

Very rude manager. Not recommended to stay very dirty also. My aunt was in Cleveland Ohio in the hospital and I wanted to be closer just in case. Then he raised heck and cussed at us and proceeded to keep 20 dollars from our refund because we used the toilet.

We stayed here May 23-25 on our trip to Cedar Point. It was so peaceful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I liked how quiet it was compared to hotels/motels in a city right off the highway. We met the owner and he was a super nice guy. We will be returning if we ever stay in that area again.

Wonderful place with great owners and staff, reasonable prices , it's great for out of state walleye fishermen close to lake Erie boat docks and river launches

Rooms are very basic, but you can't beat the privacy or location. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere with pool, outdoor volleyball court, horseshoe pit, fire ring, and lake front beach/lookout. This place does have fish cleaning facilties, but I'm not sure if it's full service or self serve. There's also a shelter house and picnic tables on site.

Overall we have enjoyed our time here we live in a rv full time so we are use to living small so the size of the room was perfect for me and my husband. Our biggest problem we have is the water in the shower does not get hot just luke warm which was really upsetting after a long day at cedar point all we really wanted to do was come back and take a hot shower. We were told if we turn the sink and the shower on at the same time and let it run for a while the water would get hot but when we did that the water never got hot even after letting it run for 20 minutes. We repeatedly checked it to see if it was getting hot and it never did. The room was also very outdated but that’s nothing major and especially since we were only really here to sleep. We absolutely loved the campground area and how family friendly this place is. My husband loved the beach area I personally thought it was nasty and definitely not well maintained. Overall we’ve enjoyed are time here but for the price we paid for the room it definitely was not worth it. For the amount we paid we should have hot water!!

cute little hideaway right on lake Erie. We had a cottage, clean and comfy. Owners were nice. great food near by. Hiking and beaches near by. Will stay here again.

Great location. It’s a very nice area with a small beach. Check in was a bit awkward but overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are on the small size but definitely clean and very comfortable
