After driving past this hotel for years and wondering what it is actually like, I decided to stay here to celebrate NYE at the casino since it is the closest option. Here is my honest review:

After pulling in and parking, there were the usual shady people walking around the parking lot and property that you would expect, but none of them bothered me.

After walking into the lobby, you are instantly hit by the smell of weed (but hey, it is Toledo, what do you expect). The lady at the front desk was nice and the check-in process was quick.

I got my room key and headed towards my room. The entire hotel is laminate flooring, so it is loud and echoey. Once I walked into my room, we were again hit by a smell, but instead cleaning products, which I suppose is a good sign. The room itself was pretty run down: the furniture was worn, the walls were patched numerous times, the trim was poorly repaired, etc. The room did have a large TV with cable and the bed was surprisingly comfy (no bugs).

Overall, it was right about what I expected. I would not stay here with a family or kids, but I would definitely stay here again if I decided to.

Th2ley have scabbeies or dust mites because I'm homeless had a surgery saved money for a two week stay in a motel ot hotel and I picked this place now my scare tissue is all Messed up itches and burns because I'm getting. Chewed up by this places bugs, it's disgusting as soon as they get rid of the bugs and open the pool restaurant diner and gym keep the rates they have now it will be a amazing 5 star place.

Smells like weed and freezing cold in the room with 2 pillows each bed and 2 towels also just very wierd vibe and not a days inn

Ok-it’s not awful. But it could use a good wall wash, baseboards cleaned, and a general deep clean. You can tell they are putting money back into the rooms but it needs cleaned. The cigarette smell is strong. Wash those walls. Customer service was great. Quiet.

I know this isn't a 5 star hotel needs some maintenance work. It's looks as though they are in the process of it. My room was super clean. I check uner the bed, behind the furniture and even the vents to to heat/air were clean. I have stayed at places and paid much more and can say the rooms were not this clean. The staff was amazing. I'm glad that I didn't read the reviews before staying. It's sad more people don't take the time to write about positive experiences. It's seems people only think to make a review when they are upset. Highly recommended you give this place a chance!

Wouldn't let my dog stay here. Checked in late at night while traveling through Ohio. The lobby is run down and smelled of cigarette smoke, had peeling paint, stained carpets and ceiling tiles. Desk attendant was nice enough. Never made it to my room. The "secure" outside door was broken and didn't lock, the hallway to my room had trash outside some of the other rooms and smelled musty. Clearly people are living there which i have no problem with but keep it clean. Thankfully my room key didn't work which I took as a sign and got the heck out of there. This place is gross! Do not stay here. There are plenty of other options for similar price in the area.

We checked in and left after seeing our room. It smells of smoke and weed everywhere. Everything is run down. I didn't see bed bugs but there was hair on the sheets. Parking lot seems sketchy and didn't feel safe. We read reviews and decided to leave whether refunded or not. Luckily the woman at the front desk was very nice and provided us a refund.
