We had booked a tour of the Guardian building four a group of us, two kids included. Our tour guide was amazing - she was knowledgeable and passionate about the history and architecture of the building - making the experience very enjoyable. The kids loved going to the basement and checking out the vaults as well as the beautiful city views from the 32nd floor. The building is absolutely stunning. It was such a great experience that we will definitely be returning for some of the other tours available.

My best friend and I had the pleasure of exploring the iconic Guardian Building with Davey as our tour guide, and I must say, it was a truly enriching experience. We ended up having Davy to ourselves yesterday morning and were able to ask all the questions. Tell us about what led to the City’s bankruptcy. How did Detroit come back? Who is revitalizing downtown? Where are Underground Railroad sites in the region?

Having never been to Detroit, we were both excited to learn history of this great city. I feel fortunate Davy was our guide. He majored in history, has been giving tours for six+ years, and grew up in Detroit. Davy’s tour educated us and increased our affection for this city and its beautiful buildings and people.

Absolutely fantastic experience with City Tour Detroit. The tour is very well-thought-out, rich with fascinating history, and punctuated with stops for some of Detroit's best culinary experiences.

Karin was our tour guide. She is a font of knowledge about both the historic and contemporary details of Detroit. She is an excellent ambassador for the city. She is also a gold mine of knowledge about a city so abundant in history, character, and significance.
