Our Friday tour started a little after 5:30 pm. We were expecting to step onto a ship similar in size to the well-known Princess Cruise ship. Imagine our surprise when we boarded a small dirty river boat with hard green plastic chairs 😄. Due to the number of people, the good-view "window seats" were gone by the time we stepped onto the boat. A couple of us headed down below deck to sit at a row of card tables. The tour was pleasant and informative. We had to strain to hear the guide due to the noise level. Before the cruise started, a warning was broadcast for people to keep an eye on their children. Of course, that warning was ignored. People allowed their precious young children to dangle heads and arms out of the boat windows. Additionally, the tour does have a snack bar area for people wanting to purchase treats. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink aboard. Overall, the tour lasted a little over an hour. My group enjoyed the tour as we chatted with diverse people from all areas. I highly recommend arriving early to obtain a good seat.

Side note: The prices are still the same. However, the cruise times are shorter. The tour did not go near Belle Isle.

It's a nice to change things up a bit when you're at the river walk. Would love for the tour to be longer and explore more of the river. Tip: snacks are offered - $5 will get you a cup of soda and some chips.

I loved it!
Amazing opportunity to see both downtown Detroit and Windsor, Belle Isle the ambassador bridge, Detroit Riverwalk, and the Gordie Howe bridge all via the Detroit River.
I highly recommend it to locals and tourists. It’s about a one hour boat ride. Great opportunities for photos.

The river tour was great. It took a little more than an hour and basically goes North until right before Belle Isle, turns around and sails South until right after the Ambassador bridge and returns.
The information provided were very detailed - unfortunately not made to remember everything (hence only 4 starts). We did other river tours on which the audio guide was more entertaining.

This was the perfect outing for our afternoon. This isn’t a big fancy, expensive dinner cruise, it’s a nice, comfortable, narrated ride up and down the Detroit River that lasts about an hour. We weren’t squished together with a bunch of strangers, we all had chairs and had plenty of room to spread out. The narration was clearly read aloud from a script, but it was very informative. The water was absolutely gorgeous, and so clear! It was a lovely cruise!

We took a field-trip in the summer with a special needs summer camp. We will attend again this year and can’t wait . Everyone was amazing from setting up the tour , to the workers and especially our captain. Extremely patient , kind and accommodating.

Great way to view the city line of Detroit! Nice way to spend an hour getting to know the history of Detroit and Ontario. Arrive early. Bring cash there are two lines and cash moves much faster to get a more optimal seat. There are drinks and snacks onboard

Shared our anniversary celebration with friends on the Diamond Jack. Narrative of the tour was very good. Breeze on the river was delightful. All the major sites were well covered including the Belle Isle bridge, the Ambassador and the new Gordy Howe bridge seen in the distance. Thank you for a wonderful day.
