The place makes you feel like you’re not even in Ohio but in your own little paradise. We were able to spend some peaceful and fun filled family time on the water. Everyone loved the animals and we even checked out the quiet and peaceful campsites. We will definitely be returning to enjoy more time at this hidden gem.

What a great experience! A real must go! The owner made our stay magical. Family owned and operated small boat livery with activities for you and the kids. Things from Axe Throwing to Gem Mining and chickens to goats. This place has it all! Eclectic and unique finds like wood carved garden gnomes and magic mushies. The entire experience was easy and effortless. Start off with easy access to the Portage River and make your way to an eagle nest Island. Surrounded by lilly pads Cranes, Blue Herons and Bald Eagles. What a great river to explore. Need a place to stay the night? Look no further. With camping on premise you can have one amazing weekend trip here. Small secluded camp spots give you privacy while having access to the river to come and go as you please with your kayak or canoe rental. Rates are standard for the area. Cannot rate high enough!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We had such a great time paddle boarding with goats!!!! Such a cool unique experience. The owners were super nice, Gavin was a great river guide. So many fun things to do, we are already planning the next time we can go back with the kids! If I could give 10 stars I would.

If I could give this place a 10/10 I would. The family who runs it are so nice and friendly the canoes were nice and clean. The owners are super knowledgeable about the species and where to paddle to. If you go here don’t forget to check out the awesome animals on the property before you leave.

We did the paddleboarding with goats and it was such a unique and amazing experience. The goats, Riptide and Nug were well behaved and friendly, and our guide Gavin was extremely knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and made the experience that much better. The owners were very welcoming and almost instantly made us feel like we were long time friends. I highly recommend this place for any river adventures that you may want to do when visiting the area. It will be an experience that you won't soon forget!! 😀😀

Had an awesome first experience here! Amanda was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave us excellent advice about where to go to see snakes and turtles. The area is absolutely gorgeous, of course, and their property has a lot of cool stuff to check out. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We‘ll be back soon!

Absolutely love this place been a few times and will return many more. Either by yourself or a significant other or the family or a group it is a excellent experience with beautiful views and great bonding time. Brian is super knowledgeable and super friendly and really knows his stuff, I highly recommend taking a super well price trip all his paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats are all new and super nice.
