The visitor center is a great place to go to learn more about the history of Magee Marsh as well as the local flora and fauna. You can also see a purple martin habitat behind the building. There's also a trail that goes around the visitors center (though there was a tree blocking one end of the path; hopefully it'll be removed next time I visit). Don't forget to visit the gift shop!

Really lovely spot for a walk and bird watching. The boardwalk was in great shape and the environment was really great for bird watching. I highly recommend this walk for anyone who enjoys nature walks. There are benches periodically for those who want to linger a bit longer. There is also a really great nature center a short drivr from the boardwalk.

Spur of the moment, stop on our way to another hiking trail. The center wasn't open when we visited, but we'll make sure to come back when it is. The area is so nice & peaceful! Qe seen quite a few birds in the short time we were there. But, make sure to have your bug spray ready if you walk the trails because the mosquitoes were insane. We're already planning another trip back to finish the trails & visit the visitors center.

Nice wood board walk.
It is in need of some attention. The weeds are taking over and are very overgrown.

Such a fun stop. Lots of informative displays and a cute gift shop. I really enjoyed talking to the friendly, knowledgeable staff.
