My first visit in 50 years. Things are different of course but it is a wonderful location and facility. A hidden treasure. Not sexy enough for some; it's actual privacy vs show-off privacy, but absolutely perfect.

Quaint. Out of the way. Hard to find place. Once you find it though you will enjoy it. There's a modest sized lake (not pond) in the back yard of the place, which warns you against snapping turtles. On the other side of the lake are trailers and tent areas where people can camp. Fishing is permitted around the whole lake. Very quiet and peaceful place. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic place! My sister had her wedding there. Bought the entire camper ground for 5 days and had full access to the hall and to the kitchen the entire time. Electric and running water are there with indoor plumbing and showers

Don't do it...It's taken me a long time to leave this review from my 2018 wedding reception at this location. I still have a horrible taste in my mouth of this ownership.
As we were cleaning up our things (still on a buzz from the wedding) the owner (Robin) literally accused my wedding guests of stealing a tractor battery from their property. By the time we were leaving, her own employee came in apologizing that he had the battery & had removed it for repair. However , after the attitude & accusations we received from Robin - we never even got a very much deserved apology from her.
A few other things to mention;
- my family had to clean an inch of dust off of areas before they could hang any of the decorations. the fake trees they had also needed cleaning. They were not impressed with the cleanliness of the facility for a wedding day at all.
- we were setting up the night before & I had required the longest 2 tables she had for the wedding party on the stage. well she had set up the shorter tables. no big deal, just help us get the right tables. we had to call her about the tables while we were there setting up & she didn't want to be bothered to come down& get the tables we asked for. instead she argued with me (over the phone) telling me the right tables were on the stage.... I was physically looking at them and she is calling me a liar... then later says the tables we want were up in the loft of the dilapidated barn (since had been torn down). did she send anyone to get them? nope. my husband & his groomsmen (the night before the wedding) had to Risk getting injured to climb over, under balancing on things just to get to the ladder to climb the loft & get the 2 tables down.... this was completely unprofessional to say the least!!
- we were strongly lectured about the water that leaked from the sweat of the keg (that we asked her if we could store overnight & pick up the next day). we surrounded it with towels & blankets but it still leaked everywhere (we didn't know, we don't drink like that). we still helped clean it all up the next day... it was only water
- we were strongly lectured over cigarette butts (which I remember seeing cig. butts there the night before when we got there to set up. so they weren't even all from us), barely a handful of people from our party smoked cigarettes, so I know all of the butts weren't from them - plus they are ashtray trained....
- because of the water & cigarette butts we didn't get our deposit back. Even after being accused of lying & stealing, my husband & groomsmen risking their lives to get the tables we asked for & cleaning the place up better then when we got it....
I will never recommend this place to anyone for anything. don't care what kind of deal they offer.... after 5 years of marriage, driving past this place still makes me cringe.... they kind of ruined my day. i should drive by remembering the amazing time I had, not the bitter taste we were left with.... & with ZERO apologies!
I hate leaving bad reviews. especially for a small business... but this was all just so wrong.

Very nice place! Went to a graduation party today at this location. Lots of room indoors and out, although I mostly stayed inside because it was very hot and the air conditioning was cranking! It looks like there is done camping here, as well as hall rental. It turned out to be great graduation party.

I remember this place back in the 1970s and 80s, It was called Oak Park Lake back then. My parents would bring all of us kids here to go swimming. It was so much fun to swim here they had a floating dock in the water you could dive off of and a nice size slide (I remember it being blue) that you could slide down right into the water. They even had a lifeguard on duty there. I have not lived in Oberlin in over 20 years but boy what great childhood memories. Lauri Draves-Berg

Nice facility and able to enjoy being inside and outside. And a pond for fishing. Inside has a kitchen and bar area layout too.
Road to get to it is a bit rough, but other than that, a good place.

Great place for a night of camping many great amenities we had our family picnic there we had a ball cabins were only 50 bucks a night there was fishing room for mobile trailers nice place to visit going back soon
