The venue is beautiful, but slightly outdated and definitely needs a much better method of keeping the place cool during summer months. The owners are awful to deal with and will make sure you spend more time listening to them complain then you get to spend hosting your guests and enjoying the night you paid for. I highly suggest you look for other venue choices for your big day, so you don't have the same unacceptable experience we had. 0/10 do not recommend this venue for any special occasion.

Dean and Robyn were amazing to work with! The venue was perfect for our Galentines event! The space was beautiful and we had an incredible night and experience. Every detail was taken care of making our event stress free and a huge success.

Robyn and Dean were absolutely wonderful to work with and the venue was perfect! They had all of the tables/chairs and even some decor pieces we could use which was such a relief when planning. Our day turned out beautifully and we could not be happier we chose The Barn at Payton’s Place!!

My son and his new wife had a gorgeous wedding here!! This place is amazing!! So beautiful and plenty of room for the after party! I highly recommend it for a wedding or events!!! Will always remember this day!!!

If I had the option of leaving no stars I would. Extremely hovering owners, constantly popping in, making crappy remarks, and just all around rude. Don’t do it. Everyone says they are incredible and then after you sign the contract it goes down hill.

Our daughter chose this place for her wedding reception, and we could not have been more pleased! It was beautiful! The owners are very sweet and helpful. If you have an event coming up and need a beautiful, large space, I highly recommend!

Holy cow yall this place was absolutely AMAZING! Beautiful views and lots of room in the barn for a fun filled reception. The owners were so very accommodating helpful and kind. We had our daughters wedding here yesterday, the owners first LGBTQ+ and they were happy to be part of it. They provide so much even down to much of the decore. The price was also amazing. I encourage anyone who needs a venue for anything to check this place out!

We had our family reunion there. Dean and Robyn are wonderful to work with. Very easy to set things up and we had a blast. I would recommend highly if you are looking for a place to have an event. Oh, and the fishing is spectacular!
