Alma Travel is a wonderful group of beautiful souls! We stayed in Casa Alma and the house comfy with large bedrooms and bathrooms, a nice courtyard, big eating area and family style cooking.
Kim and Alex took us to some local mercados, interesting sights, delicious restaurants and made sure we made it to and from the airport on time.
We had such a great stay and look forward to a return trip!

Alex, Kim, Flori and the team are incredible hosts! I travelled with a group of eleven Canadian post secondary students and stayed with them for just over a week in San Jose. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic every day and they looked after us in the most warm and comfortable way. I highly recommend.

We also were in Costa Rica in February of this year and the trip was Fantastic!!! Casa Alma was a wonderful place to stay at...clean, spacious, nice spots to relax in, and a sweet Patio to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather!! Kim & Alex were great hosts, cooking tasty meals and getting us to try food we have never eaten before!! And they did a great job in setting up tours of interest. We were able to visit every attraction we were interested in, and their staff and drivers were super. I felt like Arturo was part of our family!!! I am definitely returning to Casa Alma to visit more of Costa Rica's beauty. Thanks Kim & Alex!!! And if any of you are going to Costa Rica, give Kim & Alex a shout...you won't be sorry you did!!!

I stayed here myself for a couple days in order to get my covid test so that I could return to the United States after of months in Costa Rica. Pricing for the four nights i stayed there were accommodating for being one person with my own room/bathroom and with free breakfast. The establishment is also home to two of the sweetest cats who stay out on the patio for the most part.

While here I was able to get to know two of the kindest people I have ever met! Alex and Kim were nothing but thoughtful and amazing hosts! I have nothing but praises with how helpful they were in not only directing me to beautiful attractions within and out of San Jose, they were also just wonderful people who did everything to make sure I was comfortable and safe with all my traveling and covid testing. I felt so welcome with them and even with my limited Spanish, I was able to communicate with and even improve my Spanish a bit with my bilingual hosts. I would definitely stay with them again and I wish them all the best for their future!

I stayed at Casa Alma in February and it was incredible! The home base in San Jose felt exactly like that - a home! Spacious, clean and comfortable, it was the perfect jumping off spot to other adventures in CR. Travelling around with Alma Travel was completely stress-free, with great itineraries and amazing guides, I could sit back and enjoy! From the amazing blue waters of the Rio Celeste, to jungle hikes in La Fortuna, this trip was incredible. I feel so lucky that I got this trip in before the pandemic and travel restrictions, and I know that with small group sizes, clean and safe accommodations, this is exactly the type of travel I’ll be returning to. Cannot recommend highly enough!
