The Event Group (Sheila and Kate) planned my New Years Eve wedding on 12/31/22 and they were absolutely incredible. Every detail was gorgeous, from the stationary, to coordinating with amazing vendors, to the band, to day-of experience - have no words for the experience they gave us. We do not live in Pittsburgh so a lot was done virtually and over email, and the experience was extremely seamless. Would highly recommend and will be referring friends & family to them when they're engaged. We even had a major hiccup day-of (a power outage at the venue) and the Event Group was a calming presence and helped us coordinate out of a tricky situation, getting everyone moved to different hotels and figuring out how to hold the wedding still on the same day and time. Don't know what we would have done without them!

The Event Group ruined my daughter’s wedding. It was a terrible experience for everyone in our family and the bridal party. During our course of working with them; they were unresponsive, condescending, rude and disrespectful. For fifteen thousand dollars we thought that the ideas would be creative, unique and insightful to my daughters theme. Instead, we got lists that were the same as any wedding planning guide. Infact, we received no timeline from them. We would go months without hearing from them. Then we would call and ask shouldn’t we be doing this or that now. My daughter had to be her own wedding planner even after we hired one. It was a terrible experience from the start to the end. Please, don’t get taken advantage of like we did. Go elsewhere.

The Event Group made sure every detail of my wedding was perfect! I didn't have to stress because I knew I could turn to them and they would take care of everything. Throughout the entire process I knew I could rely on them to answer any question and fulfill even my craziest wedding wishes (like taking a photo in the middle of the road). Sheila was always professional and kind, and gave me the best pep talk when I got emotional before walking down the aisle :). I highly recommend them to any bride-to-be, it is worth it, I promise!

It has been three and a half years since our daughters New Years Eve wedding, and we still receive compliments and raves every week. It would not have been such a success were it not for the incredible knowledge, guidance, effort and expertise of Sheila and The event Group. From delivery to set-up to staffing to execution, there is no one in the area that compares. A Wedding/Party/Celebration for the ages!!
