This place does not need description, this is the place where you can find peace and love from the supreme Godhead nestled in the mountains of West Virginia , you need to see it to believe it , I recommend visiting during fall or spring , winter is little too much there to withstand. Overall and awesome place for pilgrimage for Indian Lord Krishna Devotees.

This is a place where you can loose yourself in the mother nature. It is a very calm and welcoming environment. Peacocks are roaming around freely. Delicious vegetarian food is being served. Devotees and visitors are coming in waves to pay their respect or for prayers. Truly a blessing place to be at. There are lodges there as well by the pond where swans are swimming around freely. You hear the cows mooing, peacocks are singing. Very nice place for hiking, family time.

It's an overrated place. I had a bad experience with service. After paying $160 for room , bathroom door will not close so always someone needs to stay there to keep watch. Hot water coming when turn shower to cold side. No bath rug in bathroom as all water was coming out due to disabled bathroom design. Requested free ride to attractions but person took us on ride without notifying us that it's paid service when I specifically asked him that we want this free ride. I'm okay to pay but he has to tell upfront instead of asking at end. Manager has to understand that when their maintenance person is giving words then stay on word. Felt like they don't honor you. They may get people for first visit but if this behavior continues then no one will repeat the place. Please prepare to take tea, coffee and breakfast food as the restaurant will not open till 11:30 am and the express restaurant will not open till 9 am. You won't get any milk if you have a toddler. They have to keep all these facilities as a lot of people come with kids and they will be in impression to find basic amenities.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting New Vrindavan in West Virginia, and my experience was nothing short of enchanting. During my stay, I had the opportunity to spend a day at the Mandir Lodge, and it was an unforgettable experience.

The highlight of my visit was the chance to milk a cow. This hands-on activity allowed me to connect with nature in a unique and meaningful way. The sense of tranquility and harmony that enveloped me while engaging in this traditional practice was truly special.

The Rose Garden in New Vrindavan was a sight to behold. Its vibrant colors and intoxicating fragrance created an atmosphere of pure serenity. Walking among the blooming roses was a feast for the senses, and I found myself captivated by their beauty at every turn.

One of the most delightful surprises during my visit was the live view of peacocks. These majestic creatures freely roamed the grounds, displaying their magnificent plumage and adding an extra touch of wonder to the already picturesque surroundings. Watching them in their natural habitat was a mesmerizing experience.

The chanting and praying at the Mandir (temple) were nothing short of phenomenal. The spiritual energy that permeated the air was tangible, and I found myself immersed in a profound sense of peace and devotion. The harmonious sounds of the chants resonated deep within my soul, leaving a lasting impression.

I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to New Vrindavan. The scenic drive leading to this hidden gem offers breathtaking vistas that serve as a prelude to the beauty that awaits. Whether you are seeking spiritual enlightenment, a serene getaway, or simply a break from the bustling world, New Vrindavan has something to offer everyone.

My time in New Vrindavan left me with a profound sense of gratitude and inner peace. The serene environment, coupled with the engaging activities and the breathtaking natural beauty, made it a truly transformative experience. I cannot recommend it enough, and I'm already eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

Great place with lots of peacocks. Peacocks will come to your patio to say good morning if you rent a cabin.

The place itself is in a wonderful area. Up in the mountains, and a nice drive up there. The palace, while interesting from how it was built, probably has seen better days. The entry fee, about $10, supports the mission though. The temple should be a place for serenity, but instead it was one of cacophony. The crowd inside was noisy, busy taking photographs, and in general, any resemblance of serenity had left the temple. I think those who administer the temples could probably learn a thing or two from some of the churches. Fortunately, if you wanted to experience peace or goodness, then it were the volunteers. They were the true messengers of divinity within us.
