Staying in the deer cabin will be the highlight of your year if you choose it. The property is incredibly unique and its surroundings are especially beautiful. The home has many great amenities (great dish-ware, cookware, cleaning supplies) more than enough places to sleep and a basement area full of endless things to do. The build of the house is also great for large parties as it is incredibly communal. I was especially a fan of watching the sunrise on the hammock present on the second floor patio. It's also walking distance to Rock House which was honestly so incredible and makes you feel like you're in some sort of adventure or high-fantasy novel, especially in the winter. The place is hidden and quite secluded (the driveway is quite long which may be troublesome in the winter but, it's really no issue) and really gives you that
"log cabin" feel. The hot tub is also an amazing thing to have in the winter. Was even offered extra days ahead of a big snowstorm by Jennifer, the amazing liaison, at an incredibly discounted price. The hospitality, amenities and comfort here are completely unbeatable, couldn’t recommend more that large friends groups stay here for a weekend.

We loved staying at this beautiful, cozy, and well furnished cabin so much. So much to do with the beautiful trails for walks as well as the awesome game room and hot tub in the basement. We hope to be back soon!

The cabin was very clean and taken care of. We did not have any issues, and the check in was very easy as well. You do need to bring your own firewood, that was the only downfall. The property is beautiful and has a secluded feel. There is a hammock on upstairs deck that is very relaxing. It is easy to find.

Deer Cabin is a beautiful cabin in Hocking Hills. It is right off route 374, but it is far enough off the road to be secluded. It is surrounded by trees. This was our second stay at Deer Cabin. The cabin is decorated nicely. It has three televisions with DVD players. No cable or satellite. They said they have Netflix, but we did not watch television. There are board games and puzzles. They have a basketball game and a bumper pool table. We enjoy playing bumper pool. There is a hot tub outside the cabin and a jetted tub on the inside. The cabin has a beautiful porch. Our first stay we sat there watching deer. This time we watched the squirrels harvesting acorns. There is a nice fire pit with a few chairs around it. The driveway has a gate that can be locked.

The cabin is close to the Hocking Hills attractions. The closest is the Rock House, which is about a half mile away. Logan is about twenty minutes away.
