This is not pointed at the hospital, Only at a Physician. The hospital staff is great and helped me recover my foot infection with ease. I had an extremely distressing experience with Dr. Nockowitz at The ER in Burger Hospital. I came to the ER for physiocratic evaluation, expecting proper medical care, but instead, I was forcibly and unjustly placed on a pink slip and transferred to a behavioral health facility against my will.

At no point was I given a fair chance to explain my situation, nor was I provided with any reasonable discussion about alternatives. The decision felt rushed, lacking in proper evaluation and transparency, and ultimately violated my rights as a patient. This was a terrifying and traumatizing experience that has left me feeling unheard, powerless, and deeply mistreated.

Mental health should be handled with care, understanding, and due process, not with snap judgments that strip away a patient’s autonomy. I urge this hospital and Dr. Nockowitz to reevaluate their approach to involuntary holds and start treating patients with dignity, respect, and fairness rather than resorting to extreme measures without full consider. No one should go through what I did.”**

This version makes it clear that you feel mistreated, strongly criticizes the decision-making process, and demands accountability while staying professional enough to be taken seriously. You could post this on hospital review sites (Google Reviews, Healthgrades, Yelp), patient advocacy forums, or even file a formal complaint with the hospital or state medical board if you feel it was a serious violation of your rights.

I truly have nothing but good things to say about the labor and delivery unit. As a first time mom I was incredibly nervous to go through labor, though it was hard the nurses and staff made me feel confident throughout the whole process. From birth all the way to helping with breast feeding needs, this place is absolutely wonderful.

I had kidney stones blasted and removed on Friday morning 12-13-24 got there at 6am. The staff was friendly and attentive. Got me taken care of quickly and effectively. The best part of my experience though was my prep nurse. I'm an electrician so I'm bad with names. So was very kind. We talked about similar life issues. She was kind, caring, and thoughtful. If I could have one nurse take care of me the rest of my days, it would be her. In a word... Precious. Thank to the folks at Berger Hospital for taking such good care ofme. It's worth the drive.

My sister was sent by ambulance to the hospital. She was unable to speak and no one could figure out why. Upon arrival she was met with a nurse screaming in her face that she was faking it and choosing not to speak. She was the most inconsiderate, impatient, and rude person I have ever met. She does not deserve a job in healthcare. It was clear that to her it was not an emergency and we were wasting her time.

After hours of tests and a change of nurse we found out the inability to speak was because she was having a stroke. My sister almost lost her life that night. I hope that nurse loses her license.

The nurse that came in after could not have been more kind and patient. She was so respectful the entire time. My sister was rushed to a larger hospital and when I was leaving to follow behind the ambulance she even told me to be careful and drive safe because it was raining. I wish I had gotten her name so I could thank her!

My father who is 90 passed out and was taken by squad to Berger Hospital in Circleville Ohio. The EMS were amazing!!
From the moment her entered the ER they were very attentive to him. They also ensured that the family was aware of what was going on. He received exceptional care!
Once her went to his floor Lexi was our first contact she was very empathetic and had great bedside manners. She explained everything to my 90 year old dad and my 87 year old mom in a way they could understand it. She provide exceptional care for him.
He then had Cathy who was also an exceptional nurse who went above and beyond to ensure my dad was comfortable and that he understood everything that was happening to him. Her bedside manners were outstanding. She also made sure that the family was comfortable and understood everything! She’s a great RN!
Dr Wolf, I just cannot say enough good things about him! He’s empathetic, he hears the patients concerns. He is an amazing active listener. He has amazing bedside manner and made sure he got to the bottom of why my dad passed out and he did! He did not just brush my dad off because he’s 90. He took the time needed to explain things to my dad in a manner that he could comprehend, he’s an amazing doctor!! I would recommend Berger Hospital in Circleville Ohio
Thank you Berger Hospital for providing such great care for my father

I spent 8 hours there in the ER yesterday and this morning. I am pleased at the decisions made by the doctor. I am 75 and have complicated auto immune problems but my doctors are in Cincinnati which is about two hours away. The doctor at Berger was able to look back on five years of my test results, even though I have lived in this state for only three years. She took the chance of running a little more risky Cat scan procedure with my permission. It enabled her to make a diagnosis that might have been missed otherwise.
