Love photographing weddings at The Spot on West Fifth! One of my favorite parts of this venue is the large brick wall when you first walk in. It gives the space a historic element, while also still modern and bright. There's also lots of walkable areas for photos nearby, and it's in the heart of Cincinnati which is appealing for city-lovers. Highly recommend this event space + wedding venue!

We had our wedding and reception here in December and it was amazing! The Spot team is so helpful, friendly, and patient. I don’t know how many questions I asked them during the year leading up to my wedding but they were always helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond the day of the wedding which I truly appreciated! The venue itself was amazing, perfect location and a perfect spot for an indoor wedding. I can’t thank them enough!

Although I love the space, I will not be renting from them again.
I hosted my bridal shower there with about 20 guests. I know…..such a large space for a small number of people, but I thought the room was very nice. I loved the exposed brick walls, the hardwood floor, and the hanging lights. My treatment the day of the event and towards the end deterred me from wanting to do business with them.
During events, they keep someone there to monitor your room, which is fine, but when they are not discreet it is diminishes the celebratory moment. The lady that was there during my event was constantly walking back-and-forth, checking her watch, seeming agitated. At least 6 ppl said something to me, so it was obvious.
Although, I thought we went above and beyond to clean, which included sweeping and mopping the floors and getting the approval of the lady monitoring our event. The establishment still decided to keep my deposit because they said there were some green beans left in the sink, which I thought was petty and just an excuse to keep my deposit.

Great venue. Friendly and efficient bar/event staff. Lots of exposed brick. I heard they don't permit actual glassware, so our event had disposable plates, flatware, and glassware. The live band sounded great in the venue.

We loved The Spot! We had our wedding reception there in August. We had 185 guests attend, and the space was perfect size for it!

The dance floor is huge, and you can have up to two bars including one big one! The location is perfect - we had out of town guests stay in hotels one block away and a lot of people walked to The Banks bars after the reception!

Another great aspect is they let you bring in your own catering/alcohol, which gives a lot of flexibility (and isn’t as hard as you’d think to coordinate).

My husband and I got married at The Spot on West Fifth and we could not have better things to stay about this venue or the staff. Sam and Brooklyn were so easy to work with, flexible, and very organized. They responded quickly and were always friendly with great advice! The venue itself was also wonderful, and there are so many different ways to personalize and make it your own to have the day you truly want. We had such an amazing experience and wedding day there, we would recommend it to anyone! Thanks to the Spot On West Fifth for making our wedding so wonderful!

We celebrated our wedding at The Spot on West Fifth in July 2024, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning, with a beautiful, spacious interior that's full of character. It provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception.

Sam was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to answer our questions, and flexible with our schedule. She made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable.

The bridal suite was a lovely touch, providing a serene space for us to get ready. The entire event staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. The room flip between the ceremony and reception was quick and efficient, allowing us to maximize our time with our guests.

We can't thank the team at The Spot on West Fifth enough for helping us create such a memorable day. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and versatile space for their wedding or other special event.

Our Wedding was so amazing! Sam and the rest of the staff (which I regretfully forget their names!) were beyond helpful, they went well beyond my expectations since my wife and I were being a little DIY with our wedding. There were many times where they stepped up and did things that we had an understanding that it'd be our responsibility to take care of. Could not recommend this venue more to people looking to host any sort of event.
